Quite the opposite, I hope Israel prevails in their goal should they strike Iran. IMO, Iran needs someone besides the US to remove the shit living there and to put them in their place.

Well I guess I'm a little shocked at the hate here. Pun intended since there seems to be a lot of it here on CR and on CR for this thread. I did watch portions of the video and admit to condensing it to perhaps a total of 8 minutes skipping through it, I do feel I walked away with a decent understanding of the content and specifics. That said, let's not everyone focus so much just on that video or specific cause, but I would encourage everyone to look at the intent of the original post too. It's easy to share an opinion on that specific topic but couldn't the intent of the post go much farther? Has anyone even bothered to consider or clarify that? Has anyone gone so far as to expand on the point? Has anyone say you can't? Those are what I see as just as concerning about America and society be it online in social media on CR or in my own circle of friends. Many have shared their thoughts on this specific case, but to me the real question is what do you "give a fuck about" and what are you doing about it? All rhetorical questions. My point is while I did find the video moving at times and respect that many people all around the world have personal causes they support and ways of attacking it, what struck me was a pretty clear message that encourages everyone to get out and do something about what moves them on behalf of helping others. IMO if you're reply to such posts is simply that you don't give a fuck, then you probably don't and that's your choice (while a strikingly sad one), one you have to live with. The opportunity to change that view is all yours too. Some here have, some won't and some have other causes they support (kudos). The world will never all agree but hopefully those with a more half glass full approach out number those with a glass half empty or worse yet a glass entirely broken. As the saying goes, life is what you make of it. I agree with one solid point of insight from that video, which is that when I die, I hope that the things I've done in life inspire others, have changed the word in some way for the better, and leave a legacy for my kids that said their dad was a good guy, and while not perfect, he at least "gave a fuck" and did something about it. Perhaps I'd change that last part, but I had to make my final statement more CR'ish. I love you Gabe. Soap Box Off. + rep to Rocky and Michael

We should all be so lucky to have that problem. Bottom could be painted turd-brown, I'd still rock it. Nice pick up.

You change cars with each new Apple iDevice Release :gabe:

Very nice. Classy in a bad-ass kinda way. They definitely look better in person. Go steal Jones' wheels.

modding the Buick for some runs I remember hitting up dealers for those when I had my GP's

to hell with the sound, the cornering of the car in those vids gave me wood. good luck with the mods. can't wait to see it out.

Let's go for a spin next week and grab some shots.

First, the car is now sexy. Love the stance. In terms of the pic, it works and is better than many I've seen in sigs here. Just keep an eye on your focal length. This looks to have been shot at greater than 30mm actual and thus the reason the front wheel appears so large compared to the rear. Step back and zoom. Look for 50-120mm on this shot. It will help pop it out from the background a bit too. I did the same thing on my Fusion in my sig. However, I shot that with limited range P&S. That image would work great for an extraction and popping in a new background. Easier to do than you might think. Use Photoshop or like. I've used it since way back in v4. I might be able to hook you up on a copy of CS5 :gabe: PM me your mailing addy. I can see warming that shot up and putting in a nice Texas like back drop. Yes, but the key is the focal length and scale. I can help you with that. I do it a lot with my on site events. I like to collect backgrounds and scenes for just such edits. an effect yes. not sure it would have an impact on this shot though. what are you looking to do with it? surrealistic type effect? practice is the fun. you did well. My immediate suggestion would be to lose the text at the top and bring the drop shadow on the screen name closer and lighten it up a bit.

Best part of such a crappy situation. Glad you and your son are good. Sucks about the car, but most certainly could have been worse. Just think if it was warm you're arm could have been out the window.
-
Nice car. Nothing eye popping though. Needs new wheels and a better stance overall IMO.

Green is good for video, so save it for your cross into that realm Outcome was good. PP them a bit to warm them up and enhance the lighting a bit and you're golden. Pun intended. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/141892641 I had a similar situation when I was on a company shoot recently. The photographer I was working with showed up without his lighting and I was counting on him to bring it since he lived 5hrs from the event whereas I flew in from Ohio and he knew I was only bringing two bodies, two lenses and to 580ex units with diffusers. So instead of nice umbrellas and hair-lights, we had to make due with what I had. Shots all turned out well regardless. I also learned to never work with him again though.

Fixed. :gabe:

Worked well. The only thing I would suggest is to get a white back drop. You'll never be able to digitally swap out a green one where with white you can put just about anything back there. Also, shoot with two lights minimum. This will eliminate nearly all shadows.

I don't know of many manumatics that would hold the car in 4th, 5th or 6th as you slow. I don't even think it would be possible as they'd simply bog and I would think that applying the torque to an engine in an incorrect gear would not go well for the engine.

My Fusion Sport has the 6spd auto with manual option and it does allow for and will easily start in 3rd. It's very nice for when there is snow or ice on the road, especially since the top of our street is on a slight incline. In 1st the car will spin and TC will kick in. In third, it will just roll out without issue. I use it a lot, especially since the stock rubber, RS-A's suck. When in manual mode, it will hold gear to redline and it does not shift for you thus you can bounce off the limiter. When stopping, it will automatically drop gears but won't go to 1st unless you come to a complete stop. That's okay as it has plenty of power. In fact I can punch it in 2nd and still spin through the entire gear provided TC is off. For a manumatic I like it a lot. The downside is that the car revs very quietly and it's not hard to leave it in 3rd, hit high RPM's and not even know it. Especially on the freeway. Yeah, I've done it and not known :fuuuu: I would imagine the F150 is the same.

Put the new Ecotech with boost in there at 260hp and like Vinny, I'd rock it all day long as a daily. IMO the styling is still not bad. Oh...and fix the steering rack issues and other shit it had been known to give it fits too.

Mother nature never ceases to amaze me with her power. Gallery is tough to view at times. Especially since I have been to the areas hit in my day. Link to Gallery of Images

Tamie's was a '91 red/light grey. Auto 3.1l V6. Tint and a kick ass sound system. Guy who had it couldn't afford it after all the stereo mods. It's the only car she's ever had that actually kept her interest. Looked like this one. That was back before I even cared about photography so I don't even know if I have any pics of it. I remember back in high school when they launched the car it was hot and really a cool style for what it was. http://www.gmphotostore.com/images/53216785_pr.jpg

Would be fun. I guess I'll never understand why people do some cools shit and invest tons of money into something like this. I mean, at least pick up a GTZ version (which my wife had one and I liked it) or a newer Z26 and that's in decent shape and make it nice.

I'm married and not into guys. No means No. Sorry. I'm flattered though.
