Looks like the Audi Designer that joined them a while back is going after the S5 sportback look.

I give mine to the skunks under our neighbors porch.

We bought these for my 10yr old and they are great. Not noise cancelling but they sound good, are crystal clear and look nice while being made pretty well too. I'm sure there are lots of good options but in our case we needed to get something she would like and that means somewhat stylish and being they are black and red that check box was completed. Not sure how old your daughter is or what matters to her, etc. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017SR5GHE/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 That said we also have a pair of $300 Wireless Noise Cancelling Beats I bought for my wife a couple years back and they are good but not $300 good. I like my Bose NC wired ones much better and use them all the time while traveling.

Derek aka Turborust. They will come to you too for less than the cost of a good pizza. Does a great job and I do nothing but in-home/driveway service. Alignment won't be done at home though. -
They are pretty solid cars and motors thus I wouldn't worry about warranty stuff. Once you do a pulley and tune the smiles per day will nullify any warranty concerns.

tell me it was a DIY place though Save

Dear ESPN, show the fucking GAME and quit with the 5 way split screen shit.

Who is the shop that did the work? Looks great.

^^ totally understand. When I was looking and bought out of state I had to explain to people that I wasn't looking for a car I was looking "the car" and being it's my money I have a right to be ultra picky Great find! Look pretty dang clean and love the low miles.
-
Congrats! Love it. Almost made a trip to buy one just like it when I was looking. What year is that?
-
Back when I was in college those cars were inspiration for me to get a job and make some money. I loved them.

Would be cool to have something this clean to bring back to life. Not easy, especially with the mechanicals, but low miles would still make it a lot easier than finding one at deaths door prior to sitting. Thank you sir. I'll post up the sunshine lit pics later tonight. I'll send you a PM with details. Regards.

People go overboard on red accents. Looks like something a teenager would do to a civic. Needs just a little around the headlights to give that girl some eyeliner. I'm biased though Not sure the satin finish works on that vehicle either Save

Thanks! I enjoy the work. I do enjoy seeing it pay off with each pass and buff off. My favorite part is when I'm all done and complete the final wipe down and then do the trim and dressing of the trim. Makes the car stand out I think. Like eyeliner on a hot chick Will do. Me too! That beast is going to look sharp. It's all cleaned up and awaiting your offer $$ Save

I'm not a bike-guy but DAMN! Matches your logo too About as good looking of a bike I've seen. No doubt you'll do them proud on how it handles and flies around the track.

So one of CR's most senior members took delivery of a real gem thanks to Jordan and his hunting abilities to find such a creature. With only 66k on the clock it's no doubt pretty clean for it's age. Clean overall but paint wise, it appears to have been cleaned with brillo pads and a bag of gravel. Needless to say Clark was kind enough to contact me for assistance and while we've never met he trusted in my work and for that I'm appreciative. It was late when I got around to pulling it in and looking it over so I didn't really bother taking man before pics. Let's just say it wasn't pretty and once washed and ready to meet the buffer, the one thing that stood out was that it was covered in lots of medium depth random scratches. Almost like a kid with stick just went to town on it. The good news was they weren't through the clear but needless to say weren't going to just wipe away with polish. Knowing Clark's goal was to remove the swirls that covered up the metallic flake and were very noticeable, I couldn't just leave the scratches but to fix them would require more than we initially looked at. With a phone call and a couple test spots via cell pics I dialed in what was needed and was given the green light to bring her back to life. He has old winter wheels that have rough plasti-dip on them but I did what I could getting them all cleaned up and sealed. The sealant maintains a matt finish and should keep them fairly nice through winter. Lastly, I received two different complimentary trial products for trim restoration. One I use all the time, but today a second product arrived and I had to test it out as it's supposedly the best. What better car to test it out one than the one I'm about to complete! I finished up very late today and wasn't able to catch the sun which was a bummer. Friday is pick up day but hopefully the sun will break through the clouds to show off the flake in this paint. If not I'll improvise with some lighting if I can. Until then here are a few teasers. Thank you again Clark. Drop off Day: Yeah, she needs a bath and then some... http://i1379.photobucket.com/albums/ah133/PDQS4/OLD%20Gallary%20of%20Images/2006%20Mitsubishi%20Evo/20161228_134654%20web_zpstwrmlhbv.jpg Years of improper washing and drying lead to swirls that hide the true beauty of metallic paint: http://i1379.photobucket.com/albums/ah133/PDQS4/OLD%20Gallary%20of%20Images/2006%20Mitsubishi%20Evo/20161228_153329%20web_zpsiplt1fsi.jpg http://i1379.photobucket.com/albums/ah133/PDQS4/OLD%20Gallary%20of%20Images/2006%20Mitsubishi%20Evo/20161229_112652%20web_zpssplvhl42.jpg Another Item I couldn't let go unaddressed was the trim. Much of it was faded but the wiper cowl area and trim around the mirrors was faded to gray fairly badly was blotchy and not even in color. This fix won't fade away anytime soon and is more than just a simple dressing. Back to original color and smooth and even in tone. http://i1379.photobucket.com/albums/ah133/PDQS4/OLD%20Gallary%20of%20Images/2006%20Mitsubishi%20Evo/P1050271%20web_zpswya0ujem.jpg http://i1379.photobucket.com/albums/ah133/PDQS4/OLD%20Gallary%20of%20Images/2006%20Mitsubishi%20Evo/P1050272%20web_zpswpfoh1hu.jpg Compounded, polished and ceramic coating the paint now reflects like a mirror. Too bad the sun was not high enough to hit my driveway. Cowl area by hood/wipers is back to new again! Notice the wiper arms are like new too http://i1379.photobucket.com/albums/ah133/PDQS4/OLD%20Gallary%20of%20Images/2006%20Mitsubishi%20Evo/P1050263%20web_zps3i4enw0n.jpg http://i1379.photobucket.com/albums/ah133/PDQS4/OLD%20Gallary%20of%20Images/2006%20Mitsubishi%20Evo/P1050258%20web_zpsh5sjg9rf.jpg Again, these initial pics don't do it justice but they are better than nothing. http://i1379.photobucket.com/albums/ah133/PDQS4/OLD%20Gallary%20of%20Images/2006%20Mitsubishi%20Evo/P1050253%20web_zpslnohxrsw.jpg http://i1379.photobucket.com/albums/ah133/PDQS4/OLD%20Gallary%20of%20Images/2006%20Mitsubishi%20Evo/20161229_164519%20web_zpsba6uzpjx.jpg Save Save Save Save

Derek aka TurboRust is the best. 1,235 reviews of satisfied peeps on CR alone. I'm one of them and have been for years. He's never disappointed a referral I've given him either.

So to set the stage, we bought our kids and several family members Amazon Dots for Christmas. The kids love them and have been setting them up and playing with them and enjoying music on their new speakers, etc. All good fun which is to be expected. Now the wife and I have had one in our kitchen since they were first out as we bought it at the introductory price of like $99 a few years back. We use it all the time, especially for music or when in conversation and what not while in the kitchen. As you may know Echo's/Alexa is quite intuitive and can play songs or find things with just portions of what you might know in terms of lyrics or other key words. So the kids were joking around and wanted to get Alexa to play what we now know after looking it up is Sir Mix A Lot - Baby Got Back but at the time we didn't know the artist or song just that it had something to the effect of "we've got big butts" in the song lyrics. So being it's rather intuitive and can find lots of things with key words, my daughter asked, "Alexa, play the song we've got big butts" and here's what she replied with.... Picture this as we're laughing and having fun while eating dinner with our 10yr old daughter and my 13yr old son. OMG I never saw my son laugh so hard that food came out his nose and the look on my wife's face was priceless too. Needless to say, she had to explain to my innocent daughter what that word meant Save

good call. ^^ This. He found me a very sweet 7 series when I was looking but it was just too big of a car vs what I was looking to own. Save
