If I recall laser jamming is legal because it is light but radar is illegal. Violates some FCC law. Maybe I am wrong. I use a V1 since all of our major highways have so many damn K band guns all over the overpasses and signs. I know where they all are so if I see more than 1 signal I know it could be a LEO. I use waze too I have a window phone mount and it works perfect for this. 8 out of 10 times waze has told me there was a LEO a mile before I saw him. My V1 has really only helped me out once in stark county when one was hiding in an S curve. I wasn't speeding but without the V1 I would've never saw him. All of his lights were off and he was hidden behind trees.
