http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/en/ is the only thing I will use. Never had an issue since I started using in the late 90s. It will do FLAC. I ripped all of my physical CDs to mp3 192 vbr with zero issues. It works with WINE if you are running linux.

You should go somewhere in BFE with no cell phone signal and pitch a tent. Go horseback riding or hiking or fishing? You won't spend much this way and it is real relaxing. Stare at the night sky with just a camp fire going in the background.
