It is a pretty awesome deal for the hardware. I would say hardware wise it beats an ipad but i don't know if it would run better then iOS. You should buy my lenovo thinkpad running jellybean and see if you like it

I already have a cat or I would take him. I will ask some of my friends. Why don't you move his litter box or buy a 2nd one? If he is afraid he needs more then one place to go. Also this thing helps with cat odor http://www.amazon.com/Machine-Purifier-Generator-Alpine-Cleaner/dp/B001L4GNLE/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1346079609&sr=8-6&keywords=air+ozonizer Turn on the ozone generator and in 5 minutes there is zero smell. Just turn it off afterwards because it is somewhat unhealthy if you breathe it for long periods of time. This works much better then opening a window.
