his was leaking between the upper and lower.... small chunk of gasket stuck...couldnt find it..till i hit it with the smoke machine

I forgot about the smoke machine that thing is sick i wish i had one right now damn haha

lower could be leaking like johns was

i didnt take the lower off i just took the upper and the valve covers off but i guess thats what i get for taking something apart that didnt have a problem in the first place i was just bored

i guess ill take the upper intake back off im fucking pumped for that SIKE

well im a tard and forgot to reoil it and did it right as i put the car back together then threw it in right after:(

Took the valve covers and upper intake off cleaned some stuff up cleaned and oiled the k&n put everything back the way it was except with new gasket and cleaner

today i drove it for the first time since and at first idle it seems to idle around 400prm instead of the usual 900 or so and it sounds like it has a nice cam which is doesnt

crusing speed and acceleration are fine as well as performance my first thought was vaccum leak but i went over everyhting twice it all seems good the iac and tps and egr are all plugged in and i just backed it into the garage and the exhaust seems to smell a bit rich

any ideas?

could the k&N oil of got soaked on the maf ?

pics of the a arms are they new if now how many miles on them?

I have a set of ford racing black powder coated valve covers with polished fins they come with chrome caps and looked awesome on my car but im trying to go back to the stock look under the hood

they have been on my car for maybe 4k miles and have no problems at all they are the ones in the right of the top pic
