that first cam on the list looks like it would be best for me, I dont see any high rev cams that would work for me but I would love to be able to shift at 7k rpm

well sorry I was off a little bit I knew it was low the carbed 302 my buddy and I have takes 6 tuned but I didnt want to put that since some people would of been like my 460 with dual 1050 dominators takes 12 so yea whatever it was a lose lose situation for me but anyways...

okay, Rob I figured I would talk to you about this but with me being in dc and you being busy i didnt want to waste your time, when I get home I need to talk pricing with you on pulling the motor installing a new oil pan and pump and heads and cam I want to help not to cut down on the cost but I want to learn more and my dad is not in the best health right now and just plain doesnt have the strength to do it with me anyways shoot me a pm of a ball park price of me to rent some space to do this shit Ill be there for the whole project and can do most of the work just want an expert such as yourself there and of course you will be paid. other than that still shopping for cams that are streetable for a daily summer driver that makes great power without sacraficing driveability

As some of you know I have an 1988 mustang 5.0 5 speed now maf car. I am shopping for a cam the plans/current mod list is... Stock 302 block and rotating assembly GT40 inake 70mm throttle body GT40 heads bbk long tubes with no cats flowmaster exhaust AC and Smog Delete pulleys etc all the small stuff I want to find a good cam that will make great tq/power all around I will be building the heads to spec with the cam (springs rockers etc) Just want some suggestions and personal experiences on what cams are good with a gt40 set up I heard the trickflow stage one is a great cam for that combo but please correct me if im wrong. Well I'm bored sitting here in my apartment and started thinking about what I want to do to the car when I get back home...I am going to convert to mass air first make sure its all good then pull the motor.... the set up is a stock block/bottom end except for minor mods gears, gt40 intake, bbk long tubes no ac no smog etc the usual fox mods.... I want some advise or suggestions what i should do while the motor is out I have gt40 heads sitting at robs Im gonna have those cleaned up new springs and whatever else they need....I want to install those with mls headgaskets and arp studs (might as well do it right the first time and make way for boost) I am in the market for a good cam/rods springs roller rocker set up. but have no idea what cam to use and dont want to go to jegs and say i need a E303 cam haha ill prob do a canton 7qt pan melling high volume pump arp hardened oil pump shaft and windage tray, I like expensive oil changes and need a new oil pan gasket anyways might as well go all out keeping the stock bottom end for now and just clean everyhting up do a nice oiling system/cam/top end set up and heads. last summer I had the motor apart and it had double roller timing chain and looked clean as shit inside so who knows the history of the 104k miles on the odometer any advice on what cam would be good for my daily summer driver, that is a cruzier and will be tracked when done.,

different distrbutor, different fuel pump set up or a regulator to scale down since carbs only need around 14psi max, depending on what you want to do its not bad, my white vert you saw is an 88 as well its going maf when i get home from dc, get a computer and buy a jumper harness at jegs and get a junkyard maf cheap as hell and cheaper that going carb, you have that nice gt40 intake to go on your car too right? ha let me know if you need any more help

I am leaving columbus in about 20 minutes and flying to D.C. for work I am lucky enough to be one of the guys selected to stay there for a month or so, that being said what is there to do there besides all the monuments and that stuff? Any things that are a must see and any local hot spots that are good? I will be living in an apartment in the downtown area with my buddy from high school who is going with me as well (also works with me) so yea any tips or anything about this place I have never been before.
