  4. I have Progressive...work there too. They just changed the basic policy from saying excluded from being in an organized race event to excluded from just being on a race track. ...so much for test & tunes. By the way everyone should look at the exclusions on there policy to see how it's worded, because I'll guarantee you that you have an exclusion for racing. They automatically will cover $1000 in custom parts. You can pay more to get coverage up to $5000 in custom parts. Above that you have to declare the stated value of the vehicle and they will cover that amount. However, you must be able to prove that stated amount. ...also you're still excluded from racing.
  5. Would not have mattered since the BuckeyeGoats rental that was for mid-April was move to June 4th because the track itself was not ready. I just can't wait to see how hot June 4 is going to be.

My 60s were all over the place today as was my MPH 109 to 114. Couldn't find any consistency today at all. It was a great event though! ...and the track should look fantastic by the time the construction is finished
  7. A bunch of GTOs, myself included are hitting D42 tonight for some runs...drive on up.
  8. I'm going to post a link to this over on http://www.buckeyegoats.com. We have at a pretty big group of GTOs in the Dayton area that can look out for this car. Also on LS1GTO.com to get a national lookout for it.

    Vette or GTO?

I'll admit adding the Woodward hood, sunroof, wheels and lowering the front an inch made a big difference.

    Vette or GTO?

I knew Roger was having someone help him tune his. And Roger's is going to be a beast. Soooo this must be the 5th TT that I know of.

    Vette or GTO?

Vendors just want to sell wheels and will suggest whatever because there are so few wheels that match the GTOs OEM spec. Some vendors also list the offset as +35mm also when it's +48mm. You can get a 5x120.65 on the car but you'll put extra stress on the lugs by spreading them and snap them in time. Going to a ARP stud would be advised if you went that route especially if your adding more hp. By the way if you go to tirerack and specify wheels for the GTO it will show a 5x120 bolt pattern. Also if you get a wheel with a 72mm hub you'll need some custom hub rings, like I show below, to fill the space so that you wheels are hub-centric and not lug-centric. You do not want the weight of the wheel only on the lugs..especially if you use a 120.65 bolt pattern. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y26/GTO1/IMG_0144.jpg

    Vette or GTO?

Is this Roger's. If not then its the 5th in the state this year to add a twin turbo. The others are all APS TTs.

What do you want to know about the GTO. I'm a moderator of BuckeyeGoats.com and one of the top posters on LS1GTO.com ...and to address an above post the Vette and GTO do not have the same bolt pattern a Vette is 5x120.65 and a GTO is 5x120. BMWs are 5x120. The GTO also has a 69mm hub diameter and the Vette and BMW typically have a 72mm
  15. So what about drag radials? They aren't street tires. And I certainly don't like running with cars that tear up the prep with street tires either.
  16. Still have it. Amazing that people still don't know that this car was made.
  17. I was only able to post this on BuckeyeGoats.com today because Norwalk changed our date and it's taken a while to get a recommitment from the 100 people at that rental. We only have 170 members on that site and quite a few take their GTOs to the track but it may take a few days for most of them to see the post.
  18. I'm scheduled for a training class so I can't join in.
  19. Maybe...we had people from BuckeyeGoats, our sister site BuckeyeStangs, the main GTO site LS1GT0, main LS1 site LS1Tech, and main Charger site ChargerForums....so I'll see what I can do. About 95% are from Ohio so distance isn't going to be a problem. BuckeyeGoats has a dyno day planned tomorrow at Back Street Performance in Medina. If the weather doesn't kill it I'll ask people if they are interested . We were expecting 25-30 people so I'm guessing some will be interested.
  20. I hope you did a front and rear cradle alignment as well as a 4 wheel alignment using Pedders specs when you installed this for him.
  21. How many people do you need, the April 16th rental was just cancelled by Norwalk because the facility isn't ready....we had 92 cars already fully paid. Now that being said, they rescheduled us for June 4...but I might be able to get you a good number of cars. Russ moderator http://www.BuckeyeGoats.com
  22. Every time Sharpeton and Jackson open their mouths they flame the racist attitudes within the black community and set it back years ... these two live off the negativity that they create. Imus's mouth compared to Howard Stern's .... Imus is Mother Teresa. This was all over blown BS. Lets see who really benefits from this...my guess is Al.
