Nope he's not in the top 5, there are 2 that I know of running 9 and a bunch more in the 10s. He is shooting for 9s this year though. He was working on the turbos most of last year and having technical problems so most of the time he was either broken or out tuning if he did make it to the track. He didn't make it all work right until late last season.

I don't have the contract to read the details yet and have not held a private rental there so I can't answer that right now. We do have 2 twin turbo GTOs already singed up. One has run in the tens and I know he doesn't have a roll bar. Yes, I've posted this on BuckeyeStangs...they usally fill up half the rental

Let me first give a big thanks to DarkFormula for allowing me to post that the BuckeyeGoats Track Rental at Quaker City Raceway in Salem, Ohio has been scheduled! http://www.quakercityraceway.com/ Registration for this rental is NOT limited to GTO owners. All spots are open to the general public on a first come basis to cover the break even point of the rental. The official date is Sunday, May 18th from 9 am to 3 pm. This will be 6 full hours of racing!!! (this may be moved back to a 10 am start-time if we have racers coming from a long distance that need additional time to arrive) 1/4 mile track, both lanes will be prepped the entire length of the track! The track will be re-prepped as needed to maintain safety for no additional charge. The format of the rental is a Test & Tune. The rental includes 3 track staff to run the starter, computer and the time slips shack. There will be an ambulance on site and the tower will be set for Sportsman (but we can switch it if we'd like). We are required to supply persons to run the staging lanes and water-box. People must be at these stations at all times that we are racing. Post up if you are willing to spend an hour working one of the these positions. Final pricing will be based on the number of spots filled and sponsor contributions. This is free for anybody who just wants to come watch. To reserve your spot a $20 non-refundable deposit is required. (This counts towards the total cost of course) . My target is 75 cars at $40 to break even. Racers will be charged an additional $18 per bag of oil dry for any track cleanup that is required because of their car. The entire registration fee will only be refunded if the rental is canceled due to lack of interest or weather. I called Norwalk two days ago to to set up the BuckeyeGoats spring and fall rentals....they still do not have prices set or dates. They did tell me that they will do small rentals on Fridays but that they have to end early because their Friday night programs are going to start earlier.

If those are true numbers he's running LS2 stock numbers...well better then LS2 stock numbers...so he should be the 12's easy. Guess we'll see.

Because Scotts car was tuned. I know he used a Predator early on and may have had it tweaked on a dyno since...his A/F is perfectly flat on his dyno sheet. ...and because the 370 rwtq isn't close to normal for what you have. Out of courteous to the shop in this thread I won't name the two places that BuckeyeGoat has held their dyno days but when BuckeyeGoats holds another dyno day why don't you bring you car to compare if you really have a car that's so much stronger then the average. There are alway a lot a stock and lightly modded GTOs to compare against. ... and by the way I'm currently setting up the fall and spring track rentals for BuckeyeGoats. If your interested in running against the other GTOs in the state...that's the real test.

I'm saying mistakes have know to have happened and anomalies usually end up being explained as was the case with fat nick. ...looking at those numbers and know nothing else about the car is I'd have immediately guessed it had LTs and a cam. ...or was an LS2

Didn't even imply anything shady just that it was wrong. temperature, calibration or something else...who knows. There is the case of fat nick on LS1GTO.com who had his LS2 car dynoed and jumped from 341/337 to 383/376 with basical no changes...it was eventually resolved to be invalid. I call BS. There is no way that car gained 55 hp on a CAI, gutted cats and a tune. The chart is what it is but somethings really wrong. That's more then 04s get with CAI, catback, LTs and a tune. I don't know what the air temperature was yesterday but I'm guessing that obviously affected the results. It will not hold up when the temp drops.

The GTOAA used Trails last year during our nationals in Columbus...and we used two lanes. I can contact some GTO people who put that on to see what they were charged. ...I like the prep at Norwalk a lot better though and Trails teched us ... Norwalk never has.

That first one's Smitty's05GTO 10.782@130.59 175 shot,AZPS02 cam,FAST LSX,3600. The shop that put that car together, AZ power and sound, closed down all of a sudden this fall and screwed people out of thousands of dollars. It was posted that they screwed one vette owner out of 40K.

Spectator tickets are not sold out...you can still buy them through the tracks website.

The drivers tickets have the drivers name on them so that they can't be re-sold. Proof of identity is required at the track. If a driver can't make it they are supposed to tell the track in advance so that someone from the waiting list can be given their place. Since the drivers haven't told what car they are driving they can show up with anything. Someone has already approched me and told me that they would make it profitable for me to drive their car instead of mine.

Early christmas present, my drivers ticket arrived today.

I saw another 3 or 4 cars posted on LS1Tech that said they got in....ok so now we've accounted for about 10 of the 400.

It sold out in less then half an hour.

The Summit and ticket vendors site were swamped right at noon. If I hadn't brought up the Summit website at 11:45 I wouldn't have had the link to the ticket site to keep hitting.

They had snow on the ground at D42 today? There wasn't any yesterday....just frozen puddles of water.

I read this on BuckeyeStangs yesterday: "D42 will continue to be open on Saturdays and Sundays as long as the weather holds out. The track has run as late as the week before Christmas in past years." ...so if the weather holds we may get a few more weekends.
