  1. I LOVE nasty Mustangs... who owns it and whats the history. Ron
  2. Went to a Cobra hood. This one is black and in perfect condition, ready to bolt onto your 99 (?) - 03. This is a GT hood with the large scoop. If you have a 6 cyl this would be an awesome hood for you. First $350. Thanks, Ron cell 614-638-3938.
  3. Looks like a bunch of us want to do some closed course driving... ANYBODY can with just your daily driver. Start to do the research at http://www.nasaproracing.com There are four or five road courses within a four hour drive of Columbus. Each have different programs but NASA is where you should start. If you want to do some track time, or run Time Trials in your daily driver look on the left column of their home page and read "HPDE/Open Track". If you want to get more serious and do a racer, go through the "NASA Forums" in the right column. I'll be running a Mustang in "American Iron" but there are plenty of other classes listed there. They have a STOCK class (racing door to door) called CMC (Camaro / Mustang Challenge) that you could run with very little investment... actually only safety gear, extra pads and tires. This is a GREAT way for a couple guys to get together and go racing. Later, the same car could easily (built motor & suspension) move the the American Iron racing class. At the bottom of the "NASA Forums" is a For Sale section. First school and HPDE in '07 is late April at Mid Ohio. I plan to be there. Ron
  4. As I read the posts here every day I often wonder who actually GOES racing. I don't mean a blip here and there on the street but who actually does National Trail or other drag strips on a regular basis. OR, any other type of racing... round track, dirt, road racing, truck pulls too. Tell us what you do. I'll start: Been drag racing with my son in his 89 Fox GT for three years at National Trail... we run mid to low 12's in his street car. Now building a NASA road car for Mid Ohio this year. Thanks, Ron
  5. Where does this car live? How bout a phone number. Ron
  6. How bout a hatch with glass, pistons and hinges? Thanks, Ron
  7. I'm getting my GF, soon to be wife, a really great set of Briggs 4 piston brakes for my race car... Ron
  8. Which side, what condition, any rust, how much. Thanks, Ron
  9. Need to find LOCAL fenders. Price is good but Canada is a problem. Thanks anyway. Ron
  10. If anyone has a line on a set of 1973 Mustang fenders please let me know. Thanks Ron
  11. When you make the swap and if the ProCharger is available let me know. My kid is looking for one for his '89. Thanks, Ron
  12. Hey Andy. Based on the bolt ons you mention you probably have picked up an additional 15 to 20 over the factory 220. You're working in the right direction getting more air in and a good long tube exhaust set-up. Next best jump would be (a mass air set-up with) a cam, intake, 70 - 75mm throttle body and basic head work. No real need to go to expensive alumnium heads, just work what you have. Best power for the buck improvement is a 373 or 410 rear gear, and YES, the 410 is fine for the street. It's pretty easy and affordable to get to the 250-275hp range, but starts to get expensive to look at 300+. The good news is a 100,000 mile factory bottom end is good for 300+ HP without any changes other then rings and bearings. Good luck... Ron
  13. Waited for your call... we have a flywheel. Ron
  14. If you want to get this 5.0 on the street quick, call me. If you want to sell it 'cause you don't want a cool 5.0, don't. Ron 614-638-3938
  15. When and where can I pick them up. I'll also be picking up the armrests for Dave. Call me. 614-638-3938. Thanks, Ron
  16. When can I take a look at the side glass. We have a 89 hatch. e mail me at roneisner@msn.com Thanks.
  17. Sideglass for a Fox Coupe or Hatch. What year... Thanks, Ron
  18. Look at HPDE1... instructor on board, HPDE2... solo no passing, HPDE3 point & pass and HPDE4 racing with (minor) restrictions. Ron
  19. If you go to the NASA site and you want days on track, go to HPDE/Open Track on the left of the home page. Ron
  20. I've joined NASA (http://www.nasaproracing.com) cause I had to for a license but after reading more they really have their act together on just what you are looking for. Any car you drive on the street (reasonable) has a class. Driving levels progress from instructor on board to (almost) full out racing. You will use a set or two of pads and a set of tires in a weekend. They usually run 4 20 minute sessions each day for up to three day weekends. Hope this helps. Ron
