  1. Bought a pair of Georgia Boots 8 inch loggers. So far I like it a lot and highly recommend.
  2. Don't forget if you get a R1/R2 you do pickup a couple an additional 1 - 1.5 inches from a head room perspective.
  3. Highly suggest installing a heat pump for all temps above 35 degrees. We have a fuel oil and had to fill it 3 time annually (5 - 600 each time) and now we are closer to 1 (Little more). Windows and doors are also a must and made a major difference in my 1800 sq ft brick ranch. Good luck on your quest.
  4. I went on Saturday and about 8 people were waiting (Me too) and nothing. Was curious to know if anyone had the real deal as to why they closed the doors.. Pretty sure they are done because the Facebook page was also scuttled.
  5. I have a couple items that go bang, but have not participated in this forum yet. Son-in-law asked me to go to Lancaster and shoot and have not in years. Doors were closed and some one said they were closed. Any one know if this is the case or just an issue with the store (FB was off too)??
  6. Mine would be my 1989 Turbo II (S5/FC/RX7). This was my first opportunity to run a turbo on a RX7 and only mildly modified. Car was a blast.. Car: Stock port motor Singled Precision turbo (6266 I think) Larger injectors SAFC High flow exhaust (Racing Beat) Front mount intercooler & piping Racing Beat springs and Tokico shocks on all corners Aftermarket Konigg (SP?) wheels (Kumho tires were junk, but spun well) Tried pulling down some really old photos from Myspace (Yeah I know) and they will not download.
  7. Agreed. This was the only one I would say surprised me. Little dysfunctional, but the ending was perfect. Have not seen Star Wars/Last Jedi yet and may wait and buy the Blueray..
  8. Joe - When I had the ReX i used the Lucas fuel cleaner and if I went more than a 4 tanks could feel the difference. So I started buying the big container and mixing it with 93 Octane every three tanks. Seemed to work well for me, but every car is different. Current car is not forced induction and cannot really tell anything lower than 91 octane. Nor can I tell when it is needs cleaned. I still run cleaner through it about every 4 tanks just for maintenance. Hope this helps Dave
  9. Second the Sleep Number. Have a queen in the spare room (15 plus years old). The new King is 5 - 7 and works great (Two chambers for you/significant others preference)..
  10. Should have added my inducer/exducers were in good shape and only cleaned up everything and replaced some bearings/seals.
  11. I used Columbus Diesel about 5 years ago and they did a nice job on my old Precision Turbo ($300 or less).. Of course then I broke everything around it after (Miss the FD/RX7)..
  12. Second Gen

    iPhone x

And the Samsung Note 8 (That I bought) costs?
  13. I took the Z4MR out to the NTB out off East Broad street because they could not do it on the West side location. Did it up nicely and no issues. As for the sponsors...... Sorry not aware of anyone dealing with the low stance vehicles..
  14. Clay, Always wanted to build a 80's car (Light like the Datsun 810) with batteries and a Warp engine. That is what the branded the motor name. As the cars were very light and all the weight was the batteries and the converters. Watched one of these at a drag strip beat the crap out of a lot of combustion/gas cars there (OK regular street cars) and then drove it home.. Want to do that some day when I am not saving pennies to build a house..
  15. Looking forward to the new battery tech coming down the line as well. The article below describes the person (Goodenough) that created the Lithium Ion collaborating on one that removes lithium and the explosion potential using sodium.. Still years away, but promising (Lasting/temps/density) https://news.utexas.edu/2017/02/28/goodenough-introduces-new-battery-technology
  16. I think we will see a decrease in the need for crude for many reasons, but we will likely never completely exit the need. EV or hybrids are getting better and better An aircraft manufacturer (Zunum) stated they have a EV plane and plan to start selling it in 5 years A lot of the oil (My opinion) is cheap because of volume and labor. If this drops dramatically we will most likely source it here (But it is a dirty job and for the environment - Maybe) As mentioned above we are all going to hold on to our Chevy II's/Cudas/Vettes/etc for decades unless the government forces us to retrofit them my http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=888&pictureid=8912
  17. Looks to me like a first gen Saturn (I am sure some of that was used)
  18. Have lots of silver (Bought one from you) and some gold and would not mind grabbing some platinum on the lower end (Gram not ounces). PM me with the right price (Just looked at AMPEX). As always have cash in hand and we could meet @ a gas station on Morse like the last time.. Did you ever replace the Tundra DC??
  19. Was hopping it was a Grumman F22 (Would be interested, especially for $4 - 800). GL selling and agree on the street price in running order.
  20. Was trolling the Car rags online and saw this one.. Made me laugh (Yes a tractor) http://www.automobilemag.com/news/just-listed-1960-lamborghini-5c-cingolato-tractor/ Yes a 40 BHP Lamborghini
  21. I also have a 2006 DC Tundra and installed the Infinity 6.5 (Reference 6030's) in front location. Good base/fit as well as easy to mount the tweeter in the stock location. Newer model on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Infinity-Reference-6500CX-component-loudspeaker/dp/B007SNMQDQ/ref=sr_1_6?s=car&ie=UTF8&qid=1502802678&sr=1-6&refinements=p_n_size_browse-bin%3A1293701011%2Cp_89%3AInfinity Note this will not work in the back seat locations. Very shallow location and did not find anything that fit. Still running the crappy stock speakers in the rear.. Also thought you said you were getting rid of your 06 Tundra DC???
  22. Wow that would be easier. Duh (I already have the hotspot option on the Verizon)..
  23. I do it with my Note 5 to my Galaxy Tab S without issue (NFC).. Did not see any easy ways between Android to IOS/Apple.. One search calls out using VNC, but seems like overkill.
  24. I mostly read the posts on CR, but this morning I thought I would share a cool / funny story: I was cruising Eastbound, out of downtown, on 670 and see a cute (Older) brunette driving slowly in the right lane in a newer Challenger (SRT maybe). I chuckle as Pandora is jamming to Sammy Hagar on Pandora playing "I can't drive 55". As I am moving (a little) faster she falls into the distance quickly. Just about the time she disappears I hear a horn in the distance from the passing lane and see a Red Camaro (Another older guy with grey hair) coming up quick. I get out of the way just when I hear another V8 growl, and albedamn the Brunette/Challenger wakes up and we have a chase. She is driving like the Camaro and cutting in & out of traffic to catch the Camaro. Did I hear race somewhere? So I stayed back (OK just a little) and watched these two old(er) drivers do the dance with American muscle. This goes for a bit and definitely in the three figure range, and it ends quickly when I need to head North on 270 (They were headed South). Not a cool ending, but I got to work and was wide awake and had a smile seeing a good dance. Thought I would share : ) :lolguy:
  25. Brian is right (Wow can't believe I am saying it).. Ports on all (That I know of) are all outputs with the exception of USB and firewire. None are made for vid/capture sling it is needed
