Saw that video on Ohio Riders. Guys have skills. Going that fast, and recording, then the camera switch out.

I love the tinted shield on mine... 95% of my riding is during the daytime, and the tinted shield makes a huge difference. Don't ride with the dark shield at night though, it can get spooky.

 

Ok. I was not thinking of ever riding at night with a tinted shield. And the shields on the helmet I ordered are maybe a 1 min change. Some super easy pop off shields so it won't be any trouble changing them out.

And Pony has a size Medium Bell Star all black for 340 I believe too.

Every helmet I tried on I needed a medium, but a small in the bell version. They would not match the prices due to the color. Silver vs. Black.

Anyone recommend any shields for it? Mine is coming with the clear one, but should I look into a black one?

It was the most comfortable one that I tried on between scorpion and shoei. Had I now found it I was going to go with it anyway at retail.

I'm looking for gloves though, along with a jacket. I'm a smaller person though so I doubt any of it would fit me.

I was tired of the politics when they announced the candidates running for the Democratic part. The inauguration, I quit watching television I was so sick of hearing about it.

Ended up liking the Bell Star. One was priced at 350 but it was to big. I need a Small in a Bell and the dude would not match the price. Only difference was the color. Silver vs Black. Could not believe that was a huge deal for them.

 

EDIT* Grabbed it for 300 online w/ a design. You would think the helmets with designs would cost more.

So is their gear overpriced, or will I be paying the same, if not close to it if I buy there compared to other places.

I'm just looking to get a good lid and gloves. I'm going to go with 400.

Is Iron Pony overpriced on gear? I want to go and get some gloves and a helmet before the MSF and I was planning on going today. Should I go there and get fitted and buy online, or should I just purchase from the Pony?

SV650 is a nice starter bike.

I plan on riding on the highway to and from school so a 250 is not going to cut it.

Very sick. My friend has been showing me a bunch of styled bikes like this and they are very very cool.

I don't see Polaris getting very bad. It's in a pretty decent area, and it's a very spread out area around there.

Well, I'd prefer to just to keep it a good habit. If my insurance rates are what my agent thought they would be on a sport bike, I might keep my starter bike a bit longer than I thought I would.

Got my insurance rates. Surprised the shit out my agent with the rates too.

1k for full coverage.

300 for liability

400 for Comprehensive (Fire Theft, and Basic Liability)

 

Thats on an 03 sv650s. Before he ran the rates he was thinking 2-4k for full coverage.

How often do you lube up the chain?

I've heard 500 miles.

What is normal maintenance to keep up on bikes?
