Theres 4 of them. I ordered four used ones. I'm just gonna replace the one I need to for the moment, and keep the other ones handy in the car. Thankfully, when this probelm occured I was coming from the junk yard and I had the tool box handy, but I had to hit up Parsons AVE to get some electrical tape.

You mean the other window switch, yeah it would, but the new ones show soon so I'm not stressing it.

Ok, well today I had a little problem with one of my window controls in my 88 325i. I started getting smoke from under one of the buttons. I ordered new switches for the controls, as well as some female connectors to replace on the old wires. But my question is, is it the switch that went bad or the wiring. The switch was melted from the overheating.

 

New wires as well? Or not necessary?

There extremely small. Not worth getting a new top. It would not be worth getting a new top. Duct tape seems like a better option just for days I feel rain is coming.

Can I just use iron on patches on a soft top to repair tiny holes. I cant fit my fingers through them, I have 4 tiny holes, only one seems to be big enough to allow water through it.

 

Any suggestions as how to fix this problem?

As far as parts go, most of them are not bad, just dont go to BMW and get them. I just got my 88 325i, runs great. As I said, parts are not bad, just dont go to BMW and it will cost you just as much as any other car.

Looking for some decent subs, that are boxed and an amp.

 

Looking for 2 10's or 12's, must not be blown, must be in good shape.

 

Not looking to spend over 250 really.

Thats for damn sure. Love Bone Thugs. Basically, all you have to look forward to are great resaraunts, great bars, and some sweet rappers that smoke buddah. Cleveland is great, from what I can tell from the times I visited.
