  1. I did use the inverted method for my first two brews. I'll have to look at that link to find the different methods you can use.

Thanks for the tips. I do think I need to get my water temps up higher. I'm just using water from my Brita Filter Pitcher and bringing it to a boil.

  2. So I ended up getting the Baratza Preciso and an Aeropress. So far I've made two cups and both were great but it seemed like I didn't get all of the flavor out of the bean that I could have. I'll have to do some more brewing and testing with the fineness of the bean and temperature of the water. I've used 14g of bean and 17g of bean my first two brews.

I think I need to be more patient and let it steep more to get the flavor out of it.

Does anyone have any tips or suggestions?

  3. My point was to go light and only have what I need on my rifle. I use the Magpul MOE hand guard with an added rail for my light mount and a direct sling attachment.

AAC Blackout Flash Hider. Not much kick to the AR so I decided against a brake or compensator. Brakes create a lot of noise and flash and a compensator doesn't come close to a dedicated flash hider. At least not the ones I was looking at.

I also have the BAD Lever on my AR as well. Since you're familiar with how your weapon operates I would suggest picking one up.

  4. So I can't afford a complete unit ATM but I am told the ban will make only the lowers super hard to get so A: is this true and B: anyone know of a good lower sill in stock I can but and put away for a bit?

Mega, LMT, Daniel Defense, Spikes, Rainier Arms, BCM are a few.

Most companies have a link to all of their dealers on their site. If you're looking for one in particular your best bet is to search through the websites of the dealers listed.

  5. I have my rifle zeroed on Hornady Tap LE 75gr and when buying ammo I plan on stocking up on and having for SHTF I buy 75gr or the next highest grain I can find.

I need to try out Black Hills ammo but I get sub MOA from the Hornady TAP 75gr and don't see it getting any better so I haven't tested it out yet.

Mojoe, does the 77gr you shoot feed through your AR? My buddy was telling me the other day the 77gr Sierra Match King wouldn't feed because it's too long of a round to feed.
