Any pics of the final product? How does it seem like it will hold up to holster wear and abuse?

 

This is what I'm wondering.

 

I honestly don't trust myself to do it and have a good end result so I got a hold of Performance Powdercoating today and got price quotes. It does seem a little expensive but I've heard if done correctly with Cerakote H, which is what they use, the finish holds up as tough as nails. I know someone that has used their services before and said they did a perfect job.

Any chance you'd seperate the holster? If so shoot me a PM.

Interested as well. Performance powdercoating does cerakote but I may just do it myself.

Has anyone had any experience with Cerakote? The place I'm looking at using uses Cerakote H which is the low heat bake method. I'm looking into getting cerakote on my K9 that I purchased. I want to go with a grey and black two tone.

 

I'm wondering if anyone has any info on how it turned out and how it's held up. Was it worth the cost or would you have rather gone another route?

I'm thinking of getting rid of my CW9, Survival Tactics IWB Kydex Holster on leather made for the CW9 and I could include some self defense ammo to go with it.

 

Depends on if I can find a K9 in stock somewhere tomorrow.

The prices you're seeing are what these items are worth now. People want an AR and you can't get one anywhere unless you're one of the lucky ones.

 

The market literally changed overnight and it's something everyone is going to have to get used to for a while.

 

I already flipped a few rifles and plan on doing the same with some more. I know a good amount of people were preparing for something like this to happen well before this crisis hit. A few of those 600 dollar PSA AR 15 seem to good to be true now.

 

A lot of people are looking at what things are going for on Gun Broker and Armslist and think that that is what everyone is paying for stuff too.

I would be interested in a group class to get certified to instruct CCW. I know I could get at least one other, maybe a second to take the class as well.

I wouldn't touch it right now. If you had got in before the scare that would have been the safe play. There is still opportunity to get in and see good results but you could still see it drop back down quickly. I expect it to drop back down and level out as I don't see Obama getting much passed as far as new gun laws or restrictions.

 

Do keep in mind that all of these companies are back ordered to the moon right now.

 

The best thing to get in was 3D Printers at the beginning of the year. I would still be looking at 3D Systems (DDD) and Stratasyss (SSYS). Both of these still have a lot of potential growth in a growing industry. DDD raised expectations last quarter, which I expect them to surpass.

I know that if you add them to your home they don't add value to the house that you would have to pay taxes on if it were any other upgrade that added value to your home.
