I don't agree with having one attached to your pistol but I do agree with having one next to it to use.

 

A lot of trainers that train for home defense with a pistol will train you to use the light in your non dominant hand, not attached to the pistol.

The one I got didn't need refinished, I got one of the nicer ones they had in the case that day. I really don't prefer the all stainless look either.

 

A black Kahr K9 with night sights new has an MSRP of over 1k. I don't know what you could find one for in a store new, but from the research I did I was going to be paying more for a black K9 NIB than the route I took. I'm also not paying for the break in ammo either, which is another plus for me.

I was just telling Mike the other day that Apple is on the way out due to competition. They only came back due to a few innovations that were starring everyone in the face which they happened to pull the trigger on.

 

My DDD call was spot on and I made some nice in/out profit a couple of times in the past weeks. Looks like its ready for another one. Maybe I'll look into it again tomorrow. Also pulled off a little profit from URI.

 

I just heard big news from a competitor of DDD, Makerbot, they are signing with Ford to use 3D printers in their R&D.

 

I'm glad to hear DDD has been treating you well. I stayed in for a decently long ride with it and it's nearly doubled from buy in.

 

All of these 3d printing companies have a lot of room to grow. There were only 3 major companies at the beginning of last year, I know two have nearly quadrupled.

Looks great, did you have any prep work that you did yourself? Did you drop off a complete firearm or just take them parts?

 

I just walked in and dropped it off. They took it apart and did everything else to it.

 

I dropped off a friends when I went to pick mine up. He disassembled his and did prep work to his before I took it in. He might be able to tell you if they gave him a better price because of it.

 

I'll be giving them more of my business for sure.

230 after tax and everything. It is pricey but it's supposed to hold up extremely well and with this being my CCW I wanted it to be durable.

 

Personally, it was worth it since I only payed 350 for the Kahr. They did also put on the night sights for me without charging me any extra.

For a pistol light I use the OLight I have as well. I'm not a fan of attaching a light to a pistol, which is one reason why the cigar hold on the OLight is something I find as a major plus. Pistol in one hand, light in the other.

I took my Kahr K9 to Performance Powdercoating Ohio to get it refinished using Cerakote. I did quite a bit of reading on what product to use to get it refinished in and Cerakote H was supposedly one of the best ways to go.

 

I got my K9 as a police trade in, one of the nicer ones in the bunch I think. I added Trijicon Night sights and took it to them to have it done.

 

I went with Black and Sig Tactical Grey for a two tone color combo. Barrel, guide rod and frame were all done in Grey. Slide and controls were all done in Black.

 

I'm honestly extremely impressed with the way this turned out and their prices were a lot cheaper than others I found online before I factored in shipping. It took one week to turn it around so they do things prompt.

 

I know a few people showed some interest in them in my last thread, tell them Ryan with the Kahr told you to come in and they'll do you up right.

I have an O Light mx21 warrior. It's about 70 or 80 on amazon and made great. 600 lumen light, 3 brightness modes plus strobe, cigar hold, the on off switch doesn't take too much pressure, you can hook up a pressure switch to your rifle if you like. It's water proof and drop proof and the front end extends over the glass. It has a 250 meter or 300 meter throw, I don't remember exactly.

 

I'm not using a pressure switch on mine.

Look at the Kahr line. CM9, PM9, MK9 will all be good choices, if you want something that's a little larger, CW9 or the K9.

Use less trigger finger.

Lowest they have is 1/2 NLHE. There is a Bravo Poker Live app that you can download and it tells you what tables are open and what the wait lists are.
