  1. got 6.2% on the GTO and damn proud of it. i don't know how people are getting much below that
  2. what have any of you found so far, that's interesting or valuable?
  3. i drove my '87 GT for three winters with 3.73's. got stuck about a dozen times. one time, i went to pull out of a parallel parked spot, and ended up turned 90 degrees right up against the rear bumper of the car in front of me. at least 4 times, i had to have someone help me out of the spot. personally, i'd keep the mustang, and the 4X4, but do what you want.
  4. you can have mine. i also have a 110lph pump--$10
  5. +1 this is what i had to do to remove the ford motorsport headers on my '87 when i had them on there. i took a cheapo box end wrench, and ground it down until the wall was thin enough that the wrench would fit.
  6. that might have been me. i rolled up around 10pm and the streets were incredibly soaked--not just wet, but puddles everywhere. rolled right through the parking lot and it was empty. as soon as i got on 270 from 71, the freeway was dry as if it never rained
  7. so its definately open to all cars?? might bring the GTO out there, if i get a chance
  8. wow, is about all i can say. can't believe i missed it. so, are we welcome back next month??
  9. god, i hate my job sometimes. hey everyone.
  10. i love ted's montana grill. its right down there by mongolian barbecue, which is also pretty good. the other restaurants mentioned are good as well
  11. "pay dat man hees munee" jonh malkovich--in "rounders" pay the god damned money. when someone is nice enough to put you up when you're down on your luck, you should pay them their money back with interest. pathetic
  12. i have a pressure washer. shit, can't believe i missed the action.
  13. +1 i would like for everything to come down to the osu/mich game like it did last year. i just remember mike hart after the osu/mich game last year talking all kinds of smack
  14. i was busy working today, and didn't see/hear either game, but is it true michigan lost to a high school team???
  15. +1 for the '90 grand prix. mine only stranded me one time in the 7 years i owned it, and that was for the intake gasket, which lead to coolant in the oil, and a blown head gasket due to a broken head bolt. i did the head gasket job myself $200, and now my grandfather drives that car and LOVES it. it has over 150k miles on it, doesn't use a single drop of oil between changes, and idles perfectly, gets 20-28mpg, and actually has a bit of pep, but not enough to get into trouble
  16. i'll sell you my wife's '99 sentra this coming june before i leave for florida for $2500 (negotiable). it'll have right around 100k miles on it, and i've maintained it meticulously since 20k miles. oil changes every 3k miles (i have all the mileage recorded), brand new brake pads, discs, drums, shoes. new tires as well. no rust, been in two VERY minor fender benders 5 years ago--both accidents only needed the plastic bumper replaced. its a 1.6 liter automatic with dual airbags, great gas mileage--perfect car for a teenager.
  17. i drove a few TBSS's--great trucks for sure. i considered getting one, but decided to go with the GTO, and will get the newer SRT-8 grand cherokee, when i move up to wisc. there are several reports of them eating transmissions--some people have had SEVERAL replaced, so i'd keep the truck near stock for now, to make sure the tranny is not bad. definately a great truck.
  18. good perspective for sure
  19. nice story, clean car. congrats. be careful going under low bridges with that rear wing j/k
  20. i'll be there. no burnouts for me though
  21. yeah, seriously, a coach diaper bag. $400--i was actually surprised it wasn't more expensive.
