  4. so thats 400,000 in energy savings in 5-10!?... i kind of doubt that even for a whole car lot, but i dont know lol
  5. Im going to have to learn an whole new slew of bugs once the fiance and I move to SC. We were down there last week and had what is commonly known as a Palmetto bug (big fucking cockroach) in our hotel room. Made the largest splat ive ever seen. Apparently they can fly around too?... Glad I didnt see that, and at least they dont bite supposedly

  9. hot. great work. i favor amber, for that clean stock looking appearance, unless they are smoked clear... the clear clear is just so blingy under any light. glows during the day too lol
  10. Thats the adventage of powering it hardwired though the car. Pulled over >> car off >> detector goes off with it
  11. The one I have has worked pretty well above my rearview. Ive got the window bracket shoved up over the headliner and a piece of velcro to keep it sturdily attached to the headliner. Barely noticeable, even though my car has no tint-strip, stock or otherwise. You can see it up and to the left of the mirror: http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a299/iwashmycar/DSCN0530.jpg
  12. thats that chick that quit her job that way. im guessing thats not from that original set lol

  15. that is nuts. At first i thought he was just showing off walking on the steel, but youd be suicidal to take the concrete (from 1905) lol
  16. i would think you wouldnt want it all flat as the way they are should really push into the gasket for a good seal. as long as the 'raised tube parts' are all symmetrically flat, youll be fine... they look like they might not be (probably just the photo) it should concentrate all the pressure right on the pipes themselves to seal better vs. the flange too, which might prevent a tight fit on the pipes??.. my theory
  17. I was going to say dumb as shit, but now that i see how they work that is awesome. Much need here, though thats a lot of cash for stands lol. My car ONLY has jack points. Most all of the underbody, over the pinch weld area, and up around the rockers is comprised of aerodynamic plastic underbody paneling. So I have to stick with creative use of a 2X4 between the jack points to jack the car up and then place my stands under the jack points. Cars much to low for ramps too
