i agree with the others to go take a look at it. I've always enjoyed the fit and finish of a bimmer compared to most cars. and its a lot of fun having a car that turns good! Granted my car doesnt have a BMW emblem on it, and yeah its a whole different car in lots of ways (usually a bit simpler), I have no fear of working on it and modding it. again, go drive it, look it over. Id never count it out soley based on what we say on here...

ill take a single bottle of water to work and refill it for a day or three with the water cooler... i usually put packets of gatorade or something in. I just pitch it when i remember to bring in another bottle a girl who worked here was a paranoid about that.... always drank water from coffee cups or a mason jar lol
