  1. Yeah I was swapping struts (front 2 only) and was quoted only like 25 bucks total at the local Pep Boys to have them use their wall mounted compressor on them.... Cheaper and easier than renting from AZ. On the flip side, when I did my Mini lowering springs, I did not even need the compressors... Just wrapped it in a towel, stepped on the spring, and air ratcheted the top nut off. Strut only shot maybe 4 feet.. (I would not advise this though) Hardest part is the strut top nut with no air tools... some are really hard to grip so you cant loosen and tighten it enough...
  2. If you have not had Big Cheese Pizza in Gahanna, then you are missing out!
  3. Those would be Nick's vids... I think he made one for each one of us who went.
  4. Did some more wheeling this past weekend. Was a little soupy after that front that passed through around Christmas, but just made it a little more challenging. http://i1123.photobucket.com/albums/l542/Brian7758/Gulches%202012%20Dec%2028/DSCN4185_zpsa9dfaea7.jpg http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a299/iwashmycar/Gulches%2012-28-12/DSCF0042_zps863d3538.jpg http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a299/iwashmycar/Gulches%2012-28-12/DSCF0049_zpsa3f1bee3.jpg Vid one of the guys shot... couldnt quite get it up that last hill....ended up precariously close to a tree so we snatched it out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=T7A9VA81eCI
  5. THE FABRICATION! Just unreal http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/attachments/general-4x4-discussion/693375d1346465339-last-starfighter-ifs-build-20120831_175924.jpg http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/general-4x4-discussion/912264-last-starfighter-ifs-build-12.html
  6. I really enjoyed staying at the Mirage. Was just a 3 day drunk fest so, I cannot help much on specifics. Ended up just eating Chipotle a couple times after paying big bucks in the hotel for a mediocre sandwich.... The Venetian was by far my favorite to gamble at! Great place
  7. sloooooooowwwwwwwwmmoooooootttiiiiiooooooooonnnnnnnnnn
  8. If that is I assume you meant in the car?... then have a locksmith or the like break into it then take said items to get the key?
  9. There are a bunch of cheapo houses to fix up around Children's Hospital. Yeah it is pretty ghetto, but the hospital and other programs have been buying them for near-nothing, gutting them to the toothpicks, and rebuilding them. They then sell them...seems like they sell them to decent people, and the trash seems to be getting nudged out of there. You could potentially buy one of the ones not yet purchased by them and fix it up...then you'll be in an overall nice place for less money. Still gotta lock your shit up tight, but common sense goes a long way! welcome
  10. It really looks like they are trying too hard... The overall form is nice. Will be curious to see the real thing.
  11. Looks like most all of this storm should be through by tomorrow anyway. Movin' pretty quick
  12. I hope the shit stays away until next year!. I do not want to make the drive up from SC and back in anything lol. Thanksgiving travel was a dream come true, but the last thing I want is being stuck on a shitty highway in a rental car!
  13. Confusing? Would they really do two?? Seems like one is trying to muscle the other out the way
  14. Honestly no. I don't believe that there will be one...though my opinion may change if we were to move to a hurricane prone area or the like.
  15. Probably too far north, but Quaker Steak has that nice lot...
  16. No. The hole-truck is junk. I wouldn't put MORE work into it. Ditch it and move on.
  17. Man that would sell in 10 minutes down here. Would probably have 22's on it in a half-hour! GLWS!
  18. For part of college I had a GF in Columbus. I was up in Kent. Would drive my ass back down to Columbus most every weekend. So 2 1/2 hours each way.....
  19. Another thing you could do is use some sort of plastic. Like those thick matress bags you get at Uhaul. Open em up flat and use some strong double side tape. Mount it to the inside of the frame parts to create air pockets. Would need to ensure clearance for the hinged areas though. Probably not as insulating as the foams and foils, but an air barrier can go a long way... like a double pane window. Hell, you could do that OVER another system that infills the panels for extra insulation.
