Well, where I think "ESS SEE CEE SPEEDz" hurt us the most was on the defensive side. Florida's D in 2006 got after us in a way we had rarely (if ever) seen or really even prepared for. Skill position speed on the offense has never been hard for us (yeah I said 'us', fuck off and die) to recruit.

From a purely subjective point of view that's a fair enough assessment. However though they may share genre space(FPS), they begin to diverge in regards to the specific type of gameplay each employs. Specifically the two very different damage profiles, and thus play styles weigh heavily into what type of strategies a player employs, especially in regards to competitive multiplayer, and even while they both may be FPSs, they are actually quite difficult to compare each other to. Aside from that if I'm going be a little subjective, from my own experience in both game series, the Halo Series in team-oriented gametypes, lends itself better to actual team-tactics, and the playstyle also encourages more cooperative thinking in regards to goals.

I can definitely see that point, especially about guns. Which is why outside of my very few home-protection firearms(luckily my wife trained in law enforcement so she's very comfortable shooting), I have a monitored alarm system with motion and glass-break detection, interior-installed NID, and a dog that weighs more than I do (200+ he hasn't been to the vet in awhile so Im not totally sure), and doesn't care for strangers. Not that any of that stuff makes me "comfortable" per se. It's too bad there are so many worthless fucks in this world.

I would say the Fable series has enough Action-Adeventure and RPG elements to be considered in either genre. I don't really think you can pin it down to just one.

Everyone lies, has lied, and will lie again. Its a perfectly natural response that you develop incredibly early, usually by "fake" crying to get your mothers attention as a baby. One must also remember everytime we tell a story with a slight embellishment, or flair, we have in essence lied. Even convenient, and relatively harmless white lies (I was late cause of traffic) still qualify. Habitual, or pathological liars are a little different than just "people who lie" (or "everyone" as I prefer to say) and that can be an interesting, and scary research topic. I have found that as a young child you learn what you can successfully, and what you cannot successfully lie about through simple trial and error. Healthy skepticism is also built from a childhood of hearing others lie to you and having your bullshit sensor trigger or not. The above is a lie.
