I saw something like 20 or 30 police cruisers escorting maybe 7 Walmart delivery trucks today, anybody know what that was about?

Why is there a magazine?

Hopefully it's just meant to provide legal coverage for someone wrongly accused of such an act. A friend works with teens and records all instances where counselor/student are alone in his office for just such an accusation.

My reasoning is simplicity, and cost. I currently buy 22lr, 9mm, 5.56, .308, 12 and 20 gauge. Beyond the "right gun for the job" angle there is the overall saturation of those cartridges, generally meaning cheaper prices if bought at the right time. To get into the more tin-foil hat aspect, if SHTF, those ammo types would be more likely found or scavenged, or shared between family and friends.

 

Though like you mentioned, having a target gun, and CCW gun, or having tactical rifle in .223, and also a varmint rifle in .223, and so on.

I got married pretty young, and broke, so I spent like 700 bucks on the original, and thought I did well. When I was 26 and making a better income, we upgraded her original ring to the tune of about a grand, reusing the original stone in the new arrangement.

That's probably how this fella getting charged with 2nd degree murder feels. Point is, do what you need to do to stop the threat, if that involves killing someone, so be it. I just picked up a Marlin 795 that I love. Dirt cheap, around $120 new and have seen for less. Locks on empty mag, has eaten up all my cheap brick ammo, and is pleasantly accurate. I love 10/22s though, and if you plan on any customizing beyond boyds stock, or need reliable 25 round magazines go with one of those.

Well intruders in my home will be treated as armed. However executing a teenage girl writhing on the ground, then yapping your jaw about 'clean finishing shots', to the police? Dude's a fucking quack and I don't care if he gets life.
