  3. I will be needing mine done after my fuel pump I replace. I have nitrous sitting in my garage goin in after the fuel pump is done

    well it looks like im gonna need a pump. took it into work today and tested it again. key on it goes to 12 psi then bleeds off. 30 psi running then as soon as I shut it off it bleeds back to 0 psi.

    ahh oopps. brain fart. got so much stuff going on trying to figure out what's going on with this thing. I have pulled the codes before and got 48,32 and another one I can't remember but it had something to do with reprogramming the pcm.
  7. At first I joined to get into the car/street scene and learn as much as possible about my and any cars. I now feel that I have got a good relationship with CR members and enjoy meeting up and reading all the threads knowing all this stuff happens right where I live. The tech help section has been a huge benifit to me. Anytime I get into a bind I know I can ask CR in tech help and get a fast and very accurate answer. Most of the time the answers are quicker here then the big forums.

    koolrayz. I will be pming you about that pump if I end up needing one. I have tried cycling the key and nothing. one time I did get 10 psi once but it did not hold. if it matters my low oil light will be on sometimes and sometimes not and the wires looked rigged on the sensor

    rob don't scare me saying that it could be the computer. sinisterss did u get right around the same fuel pressure and what tests did u do to figure out it was the sending unit?

    I watched it and it didn't make a move. only gets a reading when its running. if it matters the valve core is still in the check point only because my test line has a nipple in it to push the valve down and let fuel in to the gauge
  12. i am trying to diagnosis my starting problem on my transam. it takes forever to start. I checked my fuel pressure and I have 0 with key on, 32 at idle and will spike to around 40 with a rev. I was originally thinking I had a leaking fuel injector but now I am thinking fuel pump. what do you guys think is going on?

  18. same motor? I think the owner is gonna scrap it. I may buy fix and sell it
  19. 2 and 6 hiss real bad during the leakdown test. who knows if it damaged the heads, piston or cam for that matter from the one snapping. its better off getting a used motor. each head is 250 a piece
  20. thanks. really appreciate it. so one pushrod bent and another snapped in half. cylinder 2 has 60 percent leakage, cycl. 4 is 30 and 6 is 100. no need to go any further its messed up.
  21. I am working on a 99 buick century custom 3.1 that got all messed up because someone didn't know how to do headgaskets. I can't find anything on mitchell saying which pushrod is longer. anyone know?
  22. yeah I went to kroger last week because that's where everyone seemed to be. I think it will turn out like qsl did but faster. im up though either way to meet somewhere.
