yeah sorry its the 2.2 from a 95 cavalier, and aj they are different lenghts. I didn't run it long so hopefully it didn't do anything but I don't know yet. I had them all organized so I can't figure out how they got mix matched but I did have some one helping me and he may have missed placed one.

Me and my friend just got my cavalier back together and I think a pushrod may be in the wrong location. I cant find anything on ondemand on where the short ones go and the long ones. Anyone know?

the scanner i do but i am marginal with the lab scope. the tech will go over it with me. I have very little experience with them.

Hopefully they just need replaced and its not a wiring issue. It has a hesitation 1/4-1/2 throttle but idle and WOT are fine. Hopefully the tech at grismer will let me use his lab scope and scanner tomorrow.

they are all plugged in. maybe I will take it to work tomorrow and hook the lab scope up to it. would no activity mean bad o2 sensors?

well I scanned it tonight and got some different codes. no maf code but I got these. po134-o2 sensor ckt no activity bank 1 sensor 1, po135- o2 sensor heater circuit malfunction bank 1 sensor 1 and it also showed a symbol that looked like a p and b on top of each other, po160- o2 sensor ckt no activity bank 2 sensor 2 and I got that code twice.

I will post the code I got here in a few. I got to go look at the book again. it is just a pocket scan nothing special.

well hell I didn't know. I was assuming brake parts cleaner or something. your the one who asked if it had a maf when my whole question is about the maf on it.

im going to take a good look at it sunday after I finish the head gasket on my cavalier. what can I clean the maf with?

the ball joints I got have a moog part number so I believe they are moog. I have to check on the wheel bearings though.. as for the intake I will probablly hit advanced and see what they have then and yes there is a maf on it and it was actually unpluged when I looked at it when I checked out the code and cleared it but it came back on.

I am trying to find a universal cold air intake to get rid of that stupid filter but its difficult to find one.

Im going to keep some more pics this weekend then I was gonna make a thread about it. Just wanted to figure out about the maf. thankfully thats the only code that came up. All it needs is that fixed and the usuall chevy front end parts. I all ready got those ordered off ebay though.

I got that blazer with the 5.3 and 7 inch lift some of you may know i was trading my mustang for. the only code i pulled off of it was maf has low voltage. do i just need to clean it or do i need a new one?

I just don't like the foxbody as much as I thought I would. im getting the blazer then trading my truck in for a 96-01 cobra or 99-04 gt

where could I have lins made if needed? if I got it all hooked up how do I know that it will turn on by the buttons on the inside. espically since a blazer is vacuum controlled. I can post pics if u guys want

I am going to bring up my scanner with me. He said it appears to have o2 sensors but no cats. I believe he is using the entire engine management system from the 99. How hard would it be to get the a/c lines to fit up and have it work?

He sadi the motor came from a 99 yukon and the harness was pulled and installed in the blazer

I am about to head up to toledo tomorrow and trade my mustang for a 98 blazer with 7inch lift, and a 5.3 swap in it. Its still fuel injected and looks to be done pretty good from the pictures but the guy said the check engine light is on and he thinks its from not having o2 sensors. If so how hard would it be to get it back to right so everything functions correctly? Also the A/C is not hooked up. Would I need to have special lines made to get this to work also?

well since harley uses separate transmissions from there motors you could contatc baker transmission and buy a different trans. there six speed trans are very nice. the sportster may be diferent though. I am not 100 percent sure they have a separate trans. I may be wrong.
