I pulled the valve covers off and looked at them and wiggled them. They seem to be fine and I even unpluged the coil wire and cranked it to see what was going on. While checking the rockers, what should I be looking for?

Well this thing is something else. Sunday the waterpump went out right before I was heading back up to cleveland to return to school. $190 later and a few hours work I was on my way. I stopped a few miles from my apartment and when I left again I heard this weird sound. My buddy said it was the exhuast but I didnt think so. I stoped poped the hood reved it a little and sure enough sounds like I spun a rod bearing. Its knockin and what not. I am ver pissed at this car. Few questions now. 1. When a rod bearing goes, oil pressure goes up or down, mine is still at 60-80? How hard is it to fix this? How difficult to pull motor? Better from top or drop the cradle?

What if you go to school two hours away and are siting the season out?

I just went and unpluged the tps sensor and nothing happened. It didnt change anything except the cel came on and after a bit it did start to run weird but not at first. Shouldnt it of happened right away when I unpluged it?

I just got it sunday and it has just stayed the same. No worse or better. I know the chip in it is for the current mods. pcmforless said something about the tps is adjustable? Could that have anything to do with it?

Sorry, its was getting late las night and the gf was bitching. It is RICH on fuel. Black smoke comes out when I get on it.

Lol. ls1=$. It has new plugs and wires, tr55's, accell 30 ignition and msd blaster coil along with a new waterpump and vented opti. Where do I go about seeing it with live data? Who has it? New gasket everywhere, dont know what the fuel pressure is? It is definitally runing rich though. Does this car has an adjustable stock regulator?

The car will die when you first start it up if you dont hold the gas for 5-10 seconds. It will also cut-out or bog when I get on it. It seems to be pretty rich but I contacted pcmforless and they sware up and down that there is nothing wrong with the tune. So what do you guys think? I am coming home this weekend with the car and will be at a meet if someone wants to look at it in person.

So is that a yes or no on the pascessetter? I can measure them thursday and see how far apart they are if that will work.

Will it fit pascessetter LT's?

I just picked up a 93 z28 with a good assortment of mods. It has a pcmforless tune but its not perfect and I want to switch it over to MAF so it can be tuned on a dyno. What all do I need? Where can I find a conversion kit and directions?

It has a pcmforless tune in it right now. I will switch it over to maf when I get some other mods on it :nod: It should be fine right now though. I am gonna have it on a dyno to make sure everything is running well and may send the tune back out. We will see tomorrow. I am going to look at it a 1pm

So how do you tune it? I am glad you brought it up. I was wondering that.
