  1. I won't be happy until the snow is over 3 feet
  2. Think this may be in the wrong section, but anyway here's the story http://synthesis.net/2008/07/09/mikael-ekvall-runs-a-shitty-marathon/

    Olympics

Biathlon is pretty sweet. Nothing like mixing skiing with guns.
  4. There is one on Polaris too, just east of 71.

    Turbotax

I use HR Block online free version for the federal half, and just use the Ohio Dept. of Taxation site for filing the state half since HR Block wants you to pay for that. Then again, I'm still filed as a dependent under my parents and my part time school job barely takes any taxes out, so I filed all my taxes in about 20 minutes. Looking forward to a whopping $51 bucks in my pocket next week.
  6. Nice rides, I'm from the Mentor area and I know I've seen that car running around before. That pic of the Nova gives me chills, and I don't even have a thing for muscle cars... yet.
  7. There's a reason people call it "Oaksterdam". At least one state has the right idea.

    Snow Storm

My driveway is on one of the only real hills around OSU campus. Hoping we get at least 6 inches, need to see how the snow tires are going to hold up.
  9. Think this thread needs a bump after tonights game. 46 points in a single quarter, tied NBA record. Lebron was on fire, made his first 7 shots including 4 three pointers I think.
  10. Eagles of Death Metal was mainly him and another guy, although live shows had more people to cover all the parts. As for the rest of the bands, he probably just played on a track or two on some albums. Seems that he does quite a lot of guest stuff.
  11. Have you listened to Them Crooked Vultures? And if so, what do you think about them? Dave Grohl, Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age), and John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin). It's an amazing line-up, and their first album is solid, although I'm expecting a lot more from them if/when they come out with another record.
  12. Haha I've seen those, and I would agree with most of it. West 6th really is filled with douchebags, and the two buildings aren't even that fucking great. But this is why everyone is so psyched about the Cavs doing work, it's a new thing for a lot of younger people in Cleveland and I think it's one of the few things helping to improve the city's image right now. Lord knows the cross dressing mayor didn't help things .
  13. True, but it's tough to envision him staying in Cleveland for his entire NBA career. Maybe he'll leave and come back, who knows. But at some point he's going to realize that unless the Cavs become the new NBA powerhouse (which I would LOVE to see), he'll need to branch out to different teams to make the most out of his career. I won't be mad if he decides to leave. The progress he's made for and with the Cavs is already good enough, and anything he continues to do with them is just a bonus.
  14. Maybe they'll bring back the Sonett . One of the coolest quirky cars ever built. http://www.saabhistory.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/sonett1.jpg
  15. This is why I don't even bother going to the theater anymore. Netflix is alright about getting independent films out to viewers who would never see them otherwise. Majority of the time I'd rather watch something low budget and original than something like Avatar. People need to understand that multi-million dollar budgets don't automatically make a movie great.
  16. I was lucky enough to see him play in high school too, my cousin went to St. Vincent St. Mary while he was there. When they played the high school I was from I think more people cheered for LeBron than for our own team.
  17. True, but I had a lot of trouble rooting for them back then (I was born in 1988).
  18. The Cavs are one of the few things that make me proud to say I'm from Cleveland. We haven't known what it's like to root for a good sports team since the mid 90's Indians.
  19. It's sad that they consider this new face an improvement, but hopefully they will listen to the consumer and change it soon. They started out with great minimalist styling in the early 90's, and even up until 2008 everything looked pretty good. But christ, that picture above comparing the Mazda 3's says it all.
  20. It looks huge next to an original Mini. At one point my dad had a 68 Cooper and an 02 Cooper S. We took a few side by side pictures and it looks monstrous in comparison. These aren't his, but you get the idea: http://farfalle1.files.wordpress.com/2009/10/minis-old-and-new.jpg
  21. I have the same problem. I have to check it 3 times, then wait, 3 times again, wait, then 5 times. If I don't do it in that exact order I feel like my alarm won't ever go off. I also eat certain things in multiples of 5: cereal, Spaghettios, Macaroni, crackers, etc. I only have a few weird habits, but the ones I have are extremely exact in how I do them.
  22. Considering what I get back will probably be more than what I currently have saved... it'll all be going straight into savings. Which will eventually be withdrawn because I don't work enough.
