1992 Eclipse GS (2.0 4g63) 5-speed. I bought this car a bit over a year ago and drove it all last winter and spring for work. Has about 120k miles on the engine, new timing belt at 90k, I put all new front brakes on it last year. It needs a new cam sensor. It will start right up and run fine, but it feels like once the engine is nice and hot the sensor starts to fail and trip a CEL, the car will keep running but is low on power. Honestly I haven't done any further looking into the problem after scanning the code, just been driving my other car ever since. I start it and take it around the block once a week or so to keep it "fresh". The interior is fairly clean, trans shifts smooth. I 100% agree with this in a sense of anyone (government) trying to limit speeds or "street racing". Now I by no means want anything like this to happen... But I don't understand why it hasn't. - "street legal" cars and motorcycles should be limited to no more than 80-85mph. There is NO reason to go any faster or be able to go faster than that. (Most bikes and many cars can go 150+ from the factory) - There should be a huge punishment, something like driving without insurance, if cought with this limiter disabled. Just an idea, but how can anyone expect someone who buys a 130hp motorcycle or 500hp car to go no more than 65mph all the time? This idea goes beyond the op topic, but can you imagine the amount of less stupid kids smashing BMW's or buying a new 600 just to go hit a tree their first time out. Then you can even get into a decrease in high speed chases due to the limitations of everday cars.

How good are tires like that when its not snowy or wet out? I was just wondering if they are a rough ride or poor tread life if used on fair weather days like today.

I'll prob go to a couple CR meets with my new gtp, but a 3800 only meet sounds like a boring waste of time...
