  1. Just name the place and time. If I had a better set up/location I would have one at my place.
  2. This reminds me of a time when my dad was playing in a tourney at one of the river boats. He was doing a lot of bluffing and really mixing up his game. People around the table were all shaking there heads and mumbling to themselves. He was having a good time just messing with a few of them because they started to have an attitude , even started showing cards when he had good hands. He ended up in second place. I never really liked playing tourneys at the casinos because you just do not know who you have sitting beside you. The drunk that spills is beer all over the table , the expert that thinks he knows it all, and the all to serious . I like to talk and joke around a little if not it is a boring long game.
  3. Not going to wear them that much. Thought they would be good just to have around the home or at work when it gets real nasty out.

They are over priced now. I use to have a king cobra. Sold it now wish I had back.
  5. Anyone ever play the 4 card poker on a table. They use to have 4 card at the river boats and last time I was there they did away with it. I liked that game better then 3 card.
  6. Thanks for the info Joe and if I decide I do not like them I will pass them on to you. I also got a nice heavy duty tacky green jacket and some nautica marine drill pants today. Both like new never worn. When ever I am in the area and have time I stop in the Volunteers of America store on henderson rd. Never know what you might find.
  7. Will be going sometime soon after my work slows down. No different then the riverboat casinos.
  8. Does anyone know anything about these rubber boots ? I only paid 5 bucks for them. Cheap ass right. Anyway they fit me pretty good and they look to be well made with some type of inner insulation. I thought they would be good for snow and water protection. They look like they have been worn one time and then put away. http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc178/1fstws6/2012-10-08_18-35-19_419.jpg http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc178/1fstws6/2012-10-08_19-22-42_107.jpg http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc178/1fstws6/2012-10-08_18-34-24_589.jpg

In the process of changing out the old mil spec sights on my Springfield Champion 1911 4" to some 10-8 low profile and a front brass bead, flat checkered main spring housing, front strap checkering, reliability tune up.
  10. Nice collection. I have been looking into getting a Ruger Mark III competition Bull Barrel.
  11. I will agree on the 19/20 combo. Not enough rubber on the road. I have 18's all around and really like this set up,running 275/35 and 305/35 Toyo R compound. They ride great and stick pretty good also.
  12. When I had a wood burner in my pole barn I used stove pipe straight up.
  13. Definitely true. Now if you had a large yard and a truck I would say rent it. Also who ever does you aeration make sure they take there time and cover all areas. I have seen some aeration jobs that look like they skipped areas and could hardly see any plugs.
  14. Agree with above. I did all my slice seeding 2 weeks ago and it is coming up nicely now. For seed try to find a 50/50 Rye/Bluegrass mixture seed. The Rye will come up in 7-10 days and the Bluegrass will take many weeks. You can also do an aeration and over seeding with starter fertilizer. Now is the time to do it. I don't own either one and always rent them for the day after I round up all my jobs. Best place to rent a slice seeder is Zettlers in Powell and Zettlers on Kenny Rd has a real nice aerator that looks brand new and works nice.
  15. I know of this Z06. You got a good one with some nice mods and wheels to boot.
  16. Next time out I will be focusing more on just the TRP. I had 3 guns with me that I was alternating back and forth with.
  17. I went to Blackwing today to try out the TRP. I was only shooting at 25-30 ft distance for starters to see how it shot. Here is my first and second targets. I used PMC Bronze 230gr on these. Most of the other targets look similar some have 2-3 shots in one hole or very close. My goal is to tighten up these groups then move to 50ft. I am just a recreational shooter that does not shoot on a regular basis. I brought other guns with me and did a little shooting with a glock 19 and a Ruger sr9c. The glock is a real challenge for me but I am determined to master it.I still prefer the 1911's. http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc178/1fstws6/trpfirsttarget2-1.jpg http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc178/1fstws6/trptarget.jpg
  18. Can't go wrong a Wilson. I have been looking at some 3" 1911's also. For right now my 4" Champion will do. I got tied up at a friends house on my way home from work so I did not get to go to blackwing. I'm definitely down for a meet up with you guys sometime. I would love to shoot your 3" Kimber. I was looking at a Sig Ultra Compact 1911 they look nice.
  19. Ight Which 1911 do you have? Might go to blackwing later today. Have not shot it yet.
  20. Reading this thread reminds of a movie called ( The Hills Have Eyes ) Wrong Turn is another one.
  21. I refinished the grips in satin black. I like this better. What do you think. I know color is not important. I'm just playing around. Going to try to do some shooting tomorrow. http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc178/1fstws6/TRP1.jpg
  22. I use the hose attachment on our vacuum with the soft bristle brush that is about 6" wide it is fast and does not stir up the dust, dirt and dog hair.
  23. Thank You ! Married at 6:lolguy:
  24. The grips had to much bite so I ran over them with some sandpaper and a refinish with some flat black stain.
