With the right gear it would do it, but would have to be on a the salts or something..never on the streets, what we do is crazy enough that would be getting flat out insane. Yes i usaully only dig run guys but i did race one guy from a 25mph roll, and the race was untill i top out in high gear because ofcourse he could go a longer distance, but i did win......maybe you heard of him...Jamie the guy that use to own the supra that Cavin owns now ,or just sold not sure, but at any rate its probably one of the badest roll cars from 40 to whatever in the country, so we set up a race to bring him down from 40mph and me up from my normal dig and went at it and had a good time...did i mention i won. so i don't think any of your roll guys would take me out unless ofcourse one of them could beat that Supra and i would find that hard to believe, but if someone could let me know and you might draw my interest to try it again.

i didn't think just because someone corners better ,that it would make it more of a street car.....and that picture of his car looks good but it has skinnies on the front and that would not be good for corners.

Why couldn't i drive it in the rain or the snow, all i would have to do is change the tires,...but i don't need to i have other cars to drive. quit trying to justify why i can beat you,....someday you may be able to beat me...so what, its for fun. and for trails being in your guys back yard, you boys did not represent true street at all.

I don't make cars go fast from 9-5....i work on them as a hobby like most people. Where did i brag on myself on this topic or my old post from winter other than trying to get some races lined up and tease you guys about THE AMC BOYS owning you.......i didn't know you boys were so sensitive down that way.

You are a loser... and i have worked on VWs in the past that did not come with heaters when they knew the cars were being shiped out west....so they were not street cars either..uh.....and who said i did not have a heater although i am taking it out seeing how i will never drive it in the winter again and have not in almost 20 years.... i think if you only go out cruzing on the weekends or drive it to shows that does not mean a car is not a street car anymore.........i think guys like you and dark formula look for reasons when someones car is faster than yours you start making excuses and bullshit reasons why because your sore losers.....grow up. and your jealousness is making you sound like a retard.

Here is the thing i can drive my car anywhere you can on the streets just as comfortable with my full slit bench seats and stereo playing on my stock suspension with my shocks set on 4 for a smooth ride doing the speed limits and keep up with you and then stomp your ass in the 1/4 mile. Atleast you admit i own you in the 1/4 street or track.....saved yourself some money. I never said i would road race anyone....if i would of built it to go to a road race course with small suspension and tire changes im sure it would do very well. i posted that we would have the AMX at trails today running true street, over a 30 mile drive in the brutal heat and humidity and 3 back to back runs....averaged 10.81 n/a....im sure you could do better that that in the heat n/a......why didn't you show up ?

my van gets barely 10mpg and is comfortable. my hornet gets 10mpg and like i said full stock interior and suspension other than caltracs bars with adjustable shocks that i can set on soft for a real smooth ride......but it is loud, and i like it. if you want to see my car in action have someone challenge me and i will give them the same deal as dark formula........you come up here and win i pay $500 and if i win they pay $300.....it can be for less i would still run but i don't care to run for anymore than that.

The only probelm with that is alot of people like newer cars and mine is a 71 hornet...not many people like them and would be hard to get a fair vote. But i will tell you my car does have a stereo, full stock interior and all steel body....10in tire on the back and skinnies on the front.....looks like a 70s,80s hopped up car...the way i like it......its been in this form since i bought it in 1985 with a couple different colors on it. I know you didn't ask, but i put it out there incase anyone was wondering.

Good points tinman,... he does not really wan't to race me.....he was talking big and bad back then because he knew i was off the site and now its coming back to haunt him. darkformula if you don't wan't to race just say so.....and don't talk about your terms....i agreed to a long drive or cruz,... and i think the race should be on the street. We have a good spot up here...two lane road and both lanes run in the same direction and are a car and a half wide, and for you doing the traveling ,...if you win i will pay you $500 and if i win you pay me $300..... This is my last offer to you and i think everyone can agree its a fair offer....your offer is a little goofy and makes it look like your looking for a way out.

When did i get in your shit because you said you had a fast street car.....if i did its probably because you started talking shit to me first. Like i said depending on how long the drive is will determin if i need more fuel or not, im good for about 100 miles on a tank of fuel.......my car did not come with air and i will crank my stereo to "another one bites the dust" by queen after i mop you up,... and i also got a set of drag radials here also. Do you have a powere adder ? Me and my bro's will be at trails this weekend running my oldest bro's AMX in true street(30 mile cruz) just for fun,...maybe you should come and see if you can beat our slowest car....he will be running n/a.

Since when does mpg decide who's car is more of a street car.....in that case my neighbors hybrid is the badest thing around... I said i would do the drive and run on pump gas so whats the problem ? Depending on how far this drive is determines if i will have to refill, and im not seeing why anyone would have problem with that. And why not run on the streets ?....other than its illegal.... its much more fun.
