Wisconsin didn't almost lose to Appalachian State and didn't require a hail mary to win another game. That is the difference between them and Tennessee.. The offense looks like shit since Oklahoma, I don't think anyone will argue that. However, how good of a team are you, when the offense is struggling and you still manage to hang 58, 38 and 30 respectively. I am tired of seeing JT carry the ball, I can tell you that much. I have seen two qb's go down under Urban here at OSU from them carrying the ball too many damn times (Braxton and JT). 47 carries the last 2 games for JT is about 20 times too many! Give the ball to the running backs and let them do their job. The WR's need to be set in stone as Brown, Wilson and Samuel. The other WR's have looked like shit and I honestly do not think JT trust them. They are young and the inexperience is beginning to really show the further in to the season they get. As the competition begins to get tougher, the WR's have looked worse and worse. Even against Oklahoma, the only person who did anything was Brown. He has been a ghost since then really, 7 catches in the last 3 games (yes he did score in the Wisconsin game, but otherwise non factor). Ohio State is going to need someone to step up and be a legit WR outside of the above names mentioned. I think they have enough right now to get through the regular season, it's the playoff that worries me a little. With that said, lets get to the strong suit of this team, the defense. If you think the defense looks flat I think you are crazy. You take away the 1 long run by Wisconsins running back, which should've been a fumble and they have what? 96 yards rushing? The secondary is one of the most ball hawking groups I have ever watched. In almost every game OSU plays, you almost expect them to grab a few INT's and return one to the house. Looking at the stats, Ohio State has given up 4 less touchdowns on defense than might Bama. They are also only giving up 4 more yards per game than Bama. I don't think the defense is the issue with Ohio State, in fact I would venture to say the defense is the reason OSU is undefeated at this point. The only legit win Bama has thus far and I say that very loosely, is Arkansas and I would pick Wisconsin to beat Arkansas this year. As for your boy Hurts, JT is on par or better than him in every category while playing 1 less game LOL Hurts/Barrett: Yards- 1385/1207 CMP %- 63.5/63.2 TD- 9/16 INT- 3/4 Rushing: Yards- 428/434 TD's- 8/6

Herbie talks out of his ass a lot. There's a reason he's not very welcomed here in Columbus and from what I have read, he's not welcomed at Ohio State by the coaches. Not sure if true or just "reports" but usually where there is smoke, there is fire. Bama is good, but they aren't close to even being the best team Bama has fielded in the last 5-6 years in my opinion.

Coaches poll is out and not a single change among the top 10 haha. OSU is #2, Nebraska is #9 and Wisconsin is #10 So with that, lets get to some picks for next week #1 Alabama vs #6 Texas A&M (This is a legit pick here, not just trolling Lauren. I think it's 31-24 TAMU) #2 Ohio State vs Penn State (Close to start but talent takes over and separates) #17 Arkansas vs #24 Auburn Upset Special: UCLA over #18 Utah

Ohio State will face a top 8 Nebraska team before facing Michigan later in the year as well. I have a feeling this is the week Alabama goes down when they face Texas A&M. Alabama did what everyone expected them to do against Tennessee, they finally showed that Tenn was severely over rated. Wisconsin did exactly what I expected them to do, played Ohio State wire to wire. I am not real sure why anyone in their right mind felt that game was going to go any other way than it did last night. If you go back and look, you'll see that Wisconsin always plays Ohio State close and even more so when it's in Madison. 2002: @ Wisconsin 19-14 (Win) 2003 @Wisconsin 17-10 (Loss) Why did they play back to back away games against Wisconsin? 2004: 24-13 (Loss) 2005: DNP 2006: DNP 2007: 38-17 (Win) 2008: @Wisconsin 20-17 (Win) 2009: 31-13 (Win) 2010: @Wisconsin 31-18 (Loss) 2011: 33-29 (Win on Braxton Hail Mary) 2012: @Wisconsin 21-17 (Win in OT) 2013: 31-24 (Win) 2014: 59-0 (Win in CCG) 2015: DNP 2016: @Wisconsin 30-23 (Win in OT) Aside from 2 games during the regular season and the championship game, these games are generally decided by 7 points or less. So lets break it down further, since 2002 the series is 8-2 which seems pretty lopsided. However, the 2 losses have been at Wisconsin. Two others went in to overtime while at Madison and one other only a victory by 3 points. It's much like Purdue for Ohio State, they always seem to give OSU fits and or OSU plays like absolute trash in that game. 6-0 heading in to another hostile environment at Penn State. I am not expecting this one to be as close to what the Wisconsin game was, but I would not be shocked if we saw OSU struggle early on once again.

Hopefully this was a wake up call to the offense tgat the passing game sucks right bow. Aside from Brown I dont see a WR thats going to give defenses fits. Luckily Samyel can catch the ball. To me it looks like a lack of chemistry vetween Barrett and wideouts.

Not to pat myself on the back but....

You're right, 2001 OSU lost to UCLA at UCLA (13-6)

I was at the 2011 Wisconsin game as well, up until 2014 my wife was angry at me over it. I gave her ticket to my buddy who had never gone to an OSU game. We ended up on the field, needless to say it was a bad idea to call and brag to her about that. 2014 we ended up on the field at the Michigan game on her birthday, so all was forgiven.

I am now retracting my statement of "this game will be closer than many want it to be" as I am fully preparing to see Wisconsin get their assholes gapped after these comments: "Jeremy Birmingham @Birm DB coach at Wisconsin says their offense is “simple” and implies Noah Brown is slow. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/17772695/sitting-wisconsin-badgers-dbs-meeting … 11:42 AM - 12 Oct 2016 Wisconsin RB coach also talked shit about Buckeye RB and former Badger commit Antonio Williams: "There's a reason he's not here," running backs coach John Settle said. "We talk about smart, tough dependable. If a guy doesn't fit that criteria, he wouldn't do well in this environment." Hello 59-0!

Been talking to him about joining us at our toy drive this year since he's in to cars and pretty close to Newark..

Cardale made Smith and Elliott lots of money during that playoff run. Devin had a knack for catching long TD's but he really shined once there was a qb who could toss bombs (Think Wisconsin game). As for being mediocre that year, JT was on fire until he got injured in the Michigan game. They averaged 44 points a game that year in the regular season haha. The only games that were close were the loss to Va Tech, Penn State and a 7 point victory over Minnesota. Other than that the next closes margain of victory was 12 points to Michigan St.

Wisonsins in the West, wed have the head to head victory over Michigan

Because that's just how playoff seedings work at all levels, hell even my 6 year old sons football league operates like that. They finished as the 3 seed and will face the 6 seed in first round of playoffs this weekend.

Some what ifs: Louisville loses to Houston Ohio State loses to Wisconsin, Beats Michigan, Wins B10 Michigan loses to OSU in a tight ball game Clemson loses to FSU Bama loses to Tennessee but beats them in the CCG I think Baylor is the dark horse honestly, right now they are 5-0 with their hardest game being against Oklahoma yet.
-
There's a whole lot of what if's still on the table. Remember, Louisville still has to play Houston. Teams like Bama and OSU are just now getting ready for the meat of their schedule. This weeks picks #1 Alabama vs #9 Tennessee (Just to be a troll to Jive haha. I really think Bama wins by a lot in this one) #2 Ohio State vs #8 Wisconsin (I have a feeling this is going to be a lot closer than anyone really wants it to be) #12 Ole Miss vs #22 Arkansas Upset Special: Texas Tech over #20 West Virginia

In OSU/non OSU news, former recruit Sam Bruce who ended up at Miami has been thrown off the team for multiple violations. His recruitment was very strange as many felt he was a lock and a take no matter what. Then out of nowhere OSU kind of stopped recruiting him and he chose Miami over us. Looks like the staff had a pretty good idea on his character and ultimately decided against pursuing him.

You shouldn't throw shade at the B10 when the SEC has looked more than suspect. Lets talk about over rated, Arkansas, Tennessee and Ole Miss all come to mind when mentioning that term. Not to mention the likes of LSU and Georgia.
-
If I had to guess the top 10 tomorrow it'd be this: 1. Bama 2. Ohio State 3. Clemson 4. Michigan 5. Washington 6. Texas A&M 7. Wisconsin 8. Nebraska 9. Louisville 10. Baylor I think Houston drops a bunch, Louisville hangs around 10, as does Miami
-
OSU's defense is legit, especially the secondary. Like I said, we won't know just how good Michigan is, until they play Ohio State. I don't think Michigan has the offense to hang with Ohio State and I think OSU has enough talent to put points up against Michigan. I was actually talking to my wife today about programs that have fallen off . Miami, USC, Texas, Oregon, Notre Dame... I can't wait until Bama goes back to the team of the 90's and early/mid 2000's when no one gave a shit about them haha.
-
Damn it North Carolina!! Lot of top 25's went down today #6 Houston #9 Tennessee #10 Miami #16 Arkansas #17 N. Carolina #21 Colorado Don't look now but Boise St is 5-0 and Tulsa may sneak in to the top 25 being 4-1 heading in to Houston next weekend.
-
It's fortunate for Bama that the SEC is down this year, otherwise they would be exposed. They are far and above the rest of the SEC talent wise, not so sure when it comes to national powers. If I had to pick a top 4 right now 1. Bama/OSU 2. OSU/Bama 3. Michigan 4. Clemson Michigan is suspect as well right now because they haven't really faced anyone. I don't think anyone will know how good they truly are until the end of November. Random fact, ESPN's Game day will be in Wisconsin next saturday instead of Tennessee for the Tenn/Bama game.

Lackluster 21 point victory today, thankfully the talent level wasn't close. Hopefully that is the only time we see that Ohio State team show up. The play calling was terrible and the execution was even worse. I was so pumped when Hooker took the INT to the house, then really sad when they threw the flag, damn refs! Arkansas is getting worked sadly and until they lost Tennessee was reminding me of the 2002 Ohio State team with their narrow ass victories and luck. How about Houston?
