Took the car to IFO yesterday. Had nothing but issues. Boost is creeping something terrible. I am gonna have to either add a second gate, or go to a single 60. We couldn't get boost below 27psi in 1st and 2nd gear, let me tell you how much fun that wasn't haha. The car also broke up real bad in 3rd and 4th gear. We discovered a kink in the fuel line down in the tank, fixed that and then pulled the filter out and it was nasty, so we took it out as well. The breaking up issues still remained, I went 112 in the 1/8 on one pass and ended up trapping 77mph that same pass. My best ET yesterday was 11.6@113mph LOLOLOL. That was on a 2.1 60 and a 5.xx 330 hahahahahaha The good things were nothing blew up or broke, so we live to race another day. Plus I got some very much needed seat time in the car. I didn't get the car 100% together until we was in the pits at IFO yesterday morning. I was bleeding the brakes at 10am before the first qualifying round. I am looking forward to the rest of the year and seeing what the car can do once we get everything sorted out. After talking to some friends in the stands, they seem to think the clutch is slipping. I am gonna pull the trans and inspect that this week. If it made 800+ and ran 11's on a slipping clutch i'll be pleased.

Yeah, here's some pics: http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/dyno_zpsy7tw7csd.jpg http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/civic%203_zpsl6q6l13e.jpg http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/civic2_zps7vfjbkrp.jpg http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/civic_zpsnimuieot.jpg http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/civic4_zpsi3fmcip9.jpg

Yeah I am very pleased with the power it made. We had planned on 40psi, 10k rpms and see what she did. However, the pumps didn't want to play nicely. I swapped over to twin 450lph walbros and maxxed them. The next step is a magnafuel 750 and cell. That's down the road though, for now I just wanna see what I can do with this power.

I have been slacking with the updates. So for now I am going to just leave this here until I upload photos. The car was tuned tonight, it made 831whp and 502tq on 33psi and short revving. We are having fuel pump issues, so that limited what we were able to do. I am still happy with the numbers and anxious to go racing on Sunday at Import Faceoff

Some updates...I am no longer running the 6262 turbo. Instead I have stepped up to a 67mm via Borg Warner sx400. The intercooler i had was questionable, so I picked up one rated for 1200hp. The car has also been converted to e85 using twin walbro 450 in tank pumps and 2000cc Fuel Injector Development injectors. Also, the car is now a 4 speed using a cuff to eliminate 5th gear. We are hoping this helps keep the trans together longer. I am expecting to have the car complete.and back in my.possession the weekend before import faceoff. As long as nothing breaks, I intend to be at the CR track day as well.

Haven't had any issues the last 4-5 years of using it. I think it's the angle of the pic

Update time! The hatch is 80% of the way finished after a week haha. My motor from Integra into the Hatch. Suspension is back on the civic and fuel lines have been ran http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/EK%20Hatch/12717288_10153984342026907_2040949715134938191_n_zpshuiwkztf.jpg Got the rear suspension on the car as well and was able to roll it outside so I could sweep up my garage floor. It's a shame the gold wheels are no longer mine, they look decent on the car. I sold them to my cousin for his EG Sedan http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/EK%20Hatch/12744534_10153986238781907_2714705286140895601_n_zpsrzvxwzf2.jpg Got bored late last night and decided to start putting turbo stuff on. I have to notch out the lower core support due to the oil return line fitting. It doesn't clear, but not a huge issue. I also discovered the weld on my oil pan for the oil return line fitting has busted. I noticed an oil leak but couldn't figure out where it was coming from, now I know. http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/EK%20Hatch/12734086_10153986564416907_7002018517277076403_n_zpsxlejt8af.jpg

I said a long time ago that OSU was recruiting athletes instead of pure WR's, again chastised lol. Anyways, I am not sure if OSU gets DPJ or not, but they will be in his final 2-3. With Urban you never know.

I've just been into them since I was 15 years old honestly. I love all types of cars, but for some reason I find myself back in a Honda every time. I honestly don't know what it is, maybe a comfort zone type thing... Eventually I want to build something turbo LSX

2/16/16: I finally got a free minute after a hectic 2 days and was able to tinker around on the car. With the help of my cousin and another buddy, we were able to knock out the dash removal, all the sound deadening and got the turbo setup off the car. The goal is to have the b16 pulled out Friday evening and my GSR setup in the car Saturday. Another friend of mine hit me up telling me he had a set of Omni drag coilovers he would sell me. He said since he wants to see 9's out of this and we're friends, he would sell them to me for a low price of $250, sold! http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/EK%20Hatch/gutting_zpscopnhvse.jpg http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/EK%20Hatch/gutted_zps0qniaml5.jpg All the junk removed that has no place in this car any longer. I will be buying new headlights, the old ones were trashed http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/EK%20Hatch/junk_zpsq6slr1qt.jpg The suspension needs cleaned up, but I don't get a s*** as long as it serves it's purpose http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/EK%20Hatch/ek%20suspension2_zpsdirofc72.jpg

2/13/16: I got the car home and in the garage next to the old girl. The first thing I had to do was take off all the damn stickers someone put on it during it's lifetime. Since this is a drag car strictly, I knew I wanted a race seat in the car. Luckily for me my buddy had a wide kirkey sitting at his shop going to waste. He was nice enough to donate it to the cause! http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/EK%20Hatch/New%20vs%20Old_zps3dpvm3ow.jpg http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/EK%20Hatch/Kirkey_zps27khkzgp.jpg

For those not familiar with me or my car, I own a 700+hp Integra. That car went 10.8@142 losing power at the 1000ft mark due to wiring issues. I never got a chance to take it back to the track after that. I actually wrecked that car last year and upon inspection this winter, have come to the conclusion it's best to move on from that chassis. I did a substantial amount of damage to the quarter panel. So I knew I needed a new car if I wanted to go racing at all this year. Thankfully I found one, I am going from a 3,000lb tank, to a 2000lb shoe box. Let's backtrack so I can get you all up to speed on how this all came about. Two weeks ago, my wife sent me a message on Facebook discussing how she hated knowing that we weren't going racing this year because racing was our first date and had been a part of our life for the last 13 years. That message planted the seed! I began finding myself on youtube watching racecar videos. Fast forward a couple days later and I am at a friends shop just shooting the s*** with him. We walk outside and there is a black hatch sitting there, I jokingly ask if he wanted to sell it to me. That car wasn't for sale, but he did have a 97 hatch with a turbo b16 that he'd sell me. One thing lead to another and we reached a deal on price. That was one part of the equation down, the next part was to come up with the money. Luckily, my wife who supports my habits offered to buy it for me as a loan type deal. She fronted me the cash, I put it back in our bank account over time. Saturday morning I picked the car up. Ok, now that we have that out of the way, let me tell you what the plans with the car are. We are pulling the turbo b16 out and putting it into the wifes 91 SI hatch. The b16 is a piston/rod motor (weisco/eagle) with a small turbo, should be enough for 300-350hp, plenty of power for the car and her. I am swapping my Integra setup over into the hatch. Everything from the engine, turbo setup and front brake setup. The hatch is nothing but a purpose built drag car. After wrecking my Integra last year and having a set of twins since then, I have come to understand that somethings just arent worth risking on the street. The new car (wheels pictured aren't on it): http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/EK%20Hatch/ek_zpsmklefg5m.jpg http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/EK%20Hatch/ek2_zpsewuscica.jpg http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/EK%20Hatch/B16_zpswe1rn0pe.jpg

Maybe on street tires lol, my sled went 1.79, this one should go 1.5-1.6 -
OSU is in position to potentially land the top 3 WR's in the 2017 class and lead for a few others in the top 10 at that position. WR in 2017 is absolutely loaded, I just feel it's going to be a numbers issue. The class is projected to be somewhere around 17 kids and they already have verbals now. Warren Ball is also transferring for his Sr year to Akron.

I feel like this is a trap haha Ohio State Buckeyes: Oddsmaker Bovada Names Team as Favorite to Win College Football Title On the back of a strong recruiting class, the Buckeyes odds moved to 6-1 after being at 12-1 on Jan. 13. Defending champion Alabama is second at 7-1. Clemson, Michigan and LSU round out the top five.

Thanks, I am somewhat sad going tona different car but I was burnt out on the integra. Wrecking it was really the end for it and I. I'm rejuvenated with having a new chassis tonwork with. I'm already planning cage and kirkey for it. -

We have both am EF and Ek now. Trans is my weak link as well, I'm on trans #4. Can't keep a set of synchros and 3/4 slider/hub in a trams to save my life. I just can't afford a 10k liberty or other dogbox. I have a feeling the heavy weight of my integra played a role in it some. Hoping the lighter weight will add some life to transmissions. -

Should run pretty solid, my buddy has a stock b18a (non vtec), un tuned on 12lbs and it goes 11.80's in an EF hatch. My buddy is going to tune the b16 for us and we're gonna do a fresh re-tune on my setup before the season begins. Funny thing is 3 days ago I wasn't even going to go racing this year, amazing how quickly that can all change. The wife sent me a message on facebook 2 days ago telling me she misses us racing because our first date 13 years ago was going up to Columbus to watch street racing. It's always been our thing I guess. I always say I am going to get away from the Hondas but somehow I end up right back in one. Eventually I want to build a big boy LS powered anything and enjoy that life -

Turbo GSR out of my integra, it made 741whp on slowmo's dyno and 703 spinning on an in ground dyno of my friends. 62mm turbo setup -
Well, it's the end of an era folks. After much debate and talking with my wife, we have decided that a different chassis is the best option for us. Some of you may know, others may not, but last year I wrecked my car and after talking to a few body guys locally it was worse than I thought. The cost of fixing the Integra, if I could even find someone willing to take on the challenge, was more costly than to buy a whole new setup. It's been a fun ride the last 6 years with the Integra and I am sure I will miss it from time to time. I am not sure just yet, what the fate of it is exactly, but I know it will no longer be my racecar. With that said, let me introduce you to the new chassis. http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/ek_zpsfaqbogpe.jpg http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/ek2_zpseduawpe1.jpg The car has a turbo b16 (piston/rod setup) in it. We are going to pull that set up out and put it in my wifes recently acquired EF hatch. The pink wheels are not included with the car thankfully haha. My 700+ setup is going in the hatch and the quest for 9's is about to get real. My setup went 10.8@142 in a 2700lb tank while having issues. A 2200lb car should make for a much more enjoyable ride

Building my kid a lowered radio flyer wagon
DaddyBuiltRacing replied to DaddyBuiltRacing's topic in Pics and Vids
You know, last year they had kids run the bases day in Cleveland. We are huge Indians and Cubs fans, I told my wife I was gonna take our oldest, give him a baggy and have him grab some. I may email them and see if they'll donate some, the worst they can tell me is no haha -
Building my kid a lowered radio flyer wagon
DaddyBuiltRacing replied to DaddyBuiltRacing's topic in Pics and Vids
It's been a while since I touched a wagon, luckily last weekend it was pretty decent outside and I had a free moment to breathe. I decided it was time to tinker around on this thing and get it as close to finished as I can, so I can start on my daughters. The first thing I had to do was figure out how to make the baseball bat fit inside the stock wagon handle fork. After some time looking and brain storming, it dawned on me that I have a grinding wheel in my garage, so I went to work. After about an hour of rolling the bat back and forth over the wheel, I had ground down enough to make it clear the space. I had a baseball bat handle!! The next thing on the list was to build a home plate back rest. This was pretty simple, I just used cardboard for a template, then traced on to some wood. I am planning on using a glue stick and some dirt from local ball park to make it look like a dirty home plate. Next to do was wheels/tires, I went with the off road style since we plan on pulling this around the ball park while our oldest plays games this summer and in future years. All that really remains to be done is the seat cushion, stickers and miniature bats for side rails. I may do a couple more things after that, but they are still ideas that are just being tossed around. Anyways, here's a recent picture http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/bryce%20wagon_zpsc1tgxjhv.jpg -
I have a buddy that owns a carpet cleaning business and my dad is a painter. Pm me if interested, i can give you both their contacts.

He has come out and said he absolutely loves Ohio State and learned a ton from Elliott... He's not going anywhere, he will likely be the starting RB as Samuel will be moved to a Jalin Marshall type role in my opinion.
