I tried finding my original thread but had no such luck. Anyways we painted this 65 stang for my dads buddy that lives in Dayton. I laid the base and my dad laid the clear. American Chopper, I like how Jr's shop reminds me of when this show first started. Everything was done by hand and they had a small group of workers. It also reminds me just how much of a prick Paul Sr really is lol

its called over signing and right now its a huge debate subject. The most popular schools doing this right now are Bama, Miami and a couple other SEC schools. What they are doing is taking more player in a recruiting class then they have available scholarships, suddenly a 2-3 guys that were previously on the team that get injured during the year are no longer on the team next year due to taking a "medical scholarship". That way the 2 or 3 extra kids they "over signed" now have a spot ont he 85 man roster, remember they only have 85 scholarship players on the football team, everyone else is there on their own dollar. So basically your telling a kid that is hurt, but could still play the next year "take this medical scholarship because we found someone better then you". Its just a matter of time before the NCAA steps in and puts a stop to this. And Phil you claim OSU does it, but yet they are trying to get Tyler Moeller another year due to medical reasons, they did the same thing with Lawrence Wilson as well. They gave the walkon WR that got paralyzed a scholarship, that to me is the exact opposite of what your claiming is going on. If you look at OSU's recruiting classes, youll see they take as many kids as they have open spots for.

Yeah man i'll keep that in mind, I have a great spot already picked out where I would like to take some pics of it, only problem is the car would have to be pulled up on a sidewalk in the arena district, wonder how nice the cops would be to me about that lol. Thanks man! Yeah I love the fucking Toyota color, I seriously bought my paint and was driving home, passed a Toyota dealership here locally, saw the color and thought, fuck my life I want that color...oh well it is what it is and I am not repainting this thing again lol.

I got $700 ish in the paint materials, sprayed the car myself with help from my dad, I laid the primer and base coats, he laid the clear and then I did the wetsanding and buffing. There is 4 coats of base and 4 coats of clear on the car

9/14/10: Paint time!!! After a couple months of having the paint just sitting around and the car in primer I finally decided that today was the day to put it in color. Pretty happy with how it turned out, I have to wetsand and buff it tomorrow and ill post more pics then. Been forever since I updated this, lets get up to speed: 9/4/10: Well its been forever it seems since I have updated this thing. I got the entire car in primer finally including the front end, so no more green and primer look for me. I was going to paint it this weekend but I am short on thinner and flat broke so it'll have to wait another week. I'll get a pic up later tonight Make sure your flywheel bolts are tight...last night I was driving the car around putting miles on it when the wierdest sound came out of nowhere. I quickly pulled the car over in a parking lot and popped the hood to see what was going on. My brother in law was cruising around with me and we started listening to see if we could figure it out. It sounded like a loose crank pulley, but the pulley wasn't wiggling. We finally determined that it was something inside the trans, so I limped the car home with my bro in law and my dad following me incase it broke down. Got up this morning and pulled the transmission out with help from my dad. Low and behold 7 flywheel bolts were loose as hell, I'm talking you could pull em out by hand Got those tighened up with loc tite on em for extra security. It still has the cowl hood on it, I found it hard to believe it ran 9s as well but gave the owner the benifit of the doubt. I mean he did put a v8 in a fucking cavalier so anything is possible lol

P28 ECU from a 95 Civic, got this in a parts deal and have no use for it. Its as virgin as can be, opened it up to make sure of that, everything looked fine inside of it. $80bucks picked up takes it

I was at a local car show here in Newark called Light The Night. Walked next to Wendys on the sqaure and saw this thing sitting there: http://i793.photobucket.com/albums/yy218/guy_from_nerk/cavalier.jpg The owner said it took him 12gallons of gas to make it from Pataskala to Newark, also claimed it ran 9's. Im not sure about the last part but hey it might. Not sure what motor it was, didn't get a chance to ask him as he was on the phone most the time I was by the car. In his trunk he had what looked like a fuel cell with diamond plate on it but said thats where the antifreeze was. It was pretty insane to look at over all and definitley not something you see every day.
