Tressel will not take a scholly away from Archies kid /debate Also there is a procedure they have to go through in order to take the kids scholarship away, tOSU just took away Nic Dilillos scholly this year due to him gaining about 30-40lbs and being out of shape to the point it became a medical concern. Its not as easy as you might think to take it away, I mean hell look at how hard it is for a kid to transfer to another school, the current school he is at must grant him a release from him scholarship before he can leave. tOSU is loaded at LB that is for sure, the lineup next year should be Sweat/Sabino, Klein, Bell, plus they still have Durahm and Jordan Whitting. The issue next year will be secondary as they will be losing 3 starters and possibly 4 unless Moeller gets an extra year due to medical issues. They will need to replace Chekwa, Hines, Torrence..hopefully the secondary recruits they have signed can replace those guys, if not it might be a long year next year. But enough with that talk, lets focus on this year. I am excited to see how the offense does. I dont know if it will be the same caliber as the Smith/Ginn/Gonzo era, but it should be pretty decent.

You cannot take the kids scholarship away unless he is failing in class and is injured and career is over, even then they wont do it. Its a legal binding contract, they shouldn't have given him one point blank. He is Archies kid, pretty sure he could've went to school for free regardless. I do agree that the 2012 class is loaded, lets just hope they can sign a couple linebackers because I dont see them taking any this year unless its Sturdivant from Glenvill who is already 255lbs and will most likely become a linemen in college. Oh yeah 6 days to go!

The D-line should be fine, honestly I don't like Barnett as a safety considering he was a CB in highschool. I guess the coaches know more then we do so well just have to hope they got that one right. Hall is prob the 4th back on this team and could easily become the 5th rb. You have Saine, Herron, Berry (5 star whos finally healthy), Carlos Hyde (highly recruited back from Florida) and then Hall. Alot of ppl got on the Jordan Hall hype train last year after he looked good in mop up duty. I honestly still think he was a ploy to get Pryor to goto tOSU, but hey it worked so whatever.

Rolle is the Mike backer backed up by Sabinio and Klein Homan is the Will backer Sweat isthe Sam That is a pretty good starting 3 at LB'er However since OSU runs nickel so often Sabino/Sweat wont see a whole lot of time as Tyler Moeller will be playing the star position. Honestly I am pretty dissapointed so far by Etienne Sabino, kid was a monster in highschool and cannot get on the field going into his JR year. Next years depth chart is just as stacked at LB as it is this year with most likely a starting lineup of Sweat/Klein/Bell

Calm down, they are not getting rid of OSU/Michigan. There was a question asked at the b10 meetings 2 weeks ago about OSU and Michigan possibly meeting up earlier in the year, the media has ran wild with it over exaggerating it. I am laughing at all those people who cried about wanting another team added to the big 10 so there could be a conference championship game. Well now that there is a 12th team, topics like the one at hand have come up due to the league eventually splitting into 2 divisions. The big 10 is saying "we fear 1 division would be stronger then the other" so they are talking about setting the divisions up like this West: Nebraska Penn St Iowa Wisky Purdue Northwestern East: OSU Michigan Michigan St Illinois Minnesota Indiana The problem with that is 1. Penn State is the furthest team east in the entire conference, how the hell do they get stuck in the west. 2. Penn St vs OSU is becoming a huge rivalry, same with Penn St vs Michigan. 3. Illinois vs OSU is also a big rivalry (they play for the illibuck every year). What they need to do is drop 1 of the out of conference games and add 1 conference game so rivalries will continue on as they are now.

They get free housing, free meal plans, free clothes (OSU attire only), free books, free supplies..so yeah they are getting free shit. I too know guys that have played and currently are playing for tOSU on full rides. While they might not get free cars and shit they still get free stuff

Oh I agree with that, I am just saying the guy had talent and most times the reason those backs are done by 30 is due to all the punishment their bodies have taken. MoC hasn't taken that abuse in these last 8 years...I still compare this to Ricky Williams. He took 3 years off to smoke pot, played in a scrub league for 1, came back to NFL and tore shit up at age 30.

The NCAA's rules? You need to research why he couldn't goto the NFL, that is a rule set in place by the NFL not the NCAA. Just like the NBA came up with the rule of no more highschool ballers, you now have to goto college for 1 year. Its a rule for a good reason, no 18-19 year old kid could go into the NFL and take the beatdown

He will be playing for OSU, just not tOSU. This kid is all Oklahoma St, but fear not Buckeye fans there is a player equally as good that has tOSU as his favorite. His name is Rushel Shell, look him up on youtube. Not to mention there is a couple stud RB's in ohio for the 2012 class.
