The ceiling is white lol, bad lighting ftl. My dad still does body work/painting cars here and there, but is a general contractor these days. I still paint cars on the side though with him.

Well our baby isn't due til May 31st, but the better half has been wanting its room painted. So I had a day off yesterday, plenty of boredom and a few extra bucks laying around, so figured why not make an xmas gift out of it for the gf and future kid. Since painting is my profession and my dad gets paint for crackhead prices, I figured I had no excuses not to get it done lol. The color was matched to a diaper bag that we got as a gift from my mom (yeah shes pumped to be a grandma) haha. The lighting for the pics was shitty so i'll try and get a couple better ones tomorrow and throw up here. The room used to be pure white, which just wasn't going to cut it. I should've been more clear. I was talking about the auto industry as a whole, sorry. My post was more about companies that spend millions on prototype cars that they know will never see the light of day outside of a car show

You gotta pay to have shit done, tightwads like you are the reason the economy sucks lol. No offense, but if you want shit done right you gotta pay the fee. You got 3 options really. 1.You could hire 2 schmucks for $50 bucks to have them do it and it turn out like shit. 2. You can pay the $77 dollars and have masterclean do it 3. You can go rent the machine at Krogers for 20-50 bucks depending on where you get it, another $10 in the solution, plus gas going and getting the machine plus your own time and do it. We just did our entire house using a steam cleaner that the gf's mom has and it worked out well. Took us 2-3 hours to do the following 12x12 living room 12x12 dining room 12x14 master bedroom 12 stairs and 2 3x4 landing spaces

Fuck this is old news to me, my dad did this to my kid sisters "Big Foot" seriously 10+ years ago. He put a car battery in the damn thing, it would haul my 100lb 12 year old ass around in the snow. He also hooked up fog lights so she could drive it at night lol

12/10/09: Well I got another update for ya lol. About 4pm today I got a phone call from the powder coating shop letting me know my cover was done. Now I have never used this shop before so I was hoping for the best....and I am happy with the results!! I will be taking my motor mounts and oil pan in more then likely to have them color matched as well as my suspension to be powder coated. If you need any stuff powder coated just pm me. I can prob get you a hookup on pricing. Oh it will be getting that. I have my harness down in the basement, if I get too bored im gonna start untaping and unlooming it and start mocking it up on the motor. I have all the stuff to tuck it leftover from my gf's tuck, I had her buy double the needed supplies for a reason lmfao!!

12/10/09: The motor is finally fully rotational!! I put my BDL cam gears, timing belt and covers on today. Thanks man! Yeah the fucking cold sucks, makes me so unmotivated its ridiculous lol. If I had a heated garage it'd be better, but I don't. Thank god for big kitchens and understanding gf's haha.

12/9/09: Yet another batch of OEM bolts has arrived lol. Believe it or not I had less then $3 bucks in this go around. These are the bolts for my water pump. After picking those up I came home and bolted the pump on, then went to autozone and picked up a Bosch oil filter.
