  1. Haha nah, I don't want to put any more money in the car than I have to. It makes plenty of power, just didn't get the bugs worked out of it.
  2. I am not a fan of the wildcat, as I said in my post it was innovative 10 years ago. Today defenses just sit there and know that the running back is going to take the ball, it does nothing. Just run a normal running play if you are trying to avoid injury to your qb. I am hoping OSU can hang enough points in the 1st half this weekend that Barrett can rest the 2nd half. It would also be nice to see Jones actually throw a pass for once.
  3. Bad day for me as well, attempted to make 1 pass before packing up and going home. Had either my wiring harness or map sensor fail me. Car bogged badly on the launch and then idk what the hell happened from there. All I know is I was in 5th gear by the 1/8 and only picked up 7mph on the big end. Oh well, start over again in April I guess
  4. Hopefully you didnt see it today haha, had nothing but issues once again. So much so that I packed up and left after 1 run. Pretty sure my map sensor took a crap on me today. I am glad this racing season is over, the car did go 10.9 earlier in the year with power down which is a plus.
  5. Upset pick of the week.... #20 West Virginia over #10 TCU #4 Auburn vs #7 Ole Miss Stanford vs #5 Oregon....Might be a little wishful thinking here OSU by a lot against Illinois
  6. Tom Herman needs to be shown the door, this dude shits the bed every time OSU is on primetime (Michigan State, Clemson, Va Tech, Penn State). Even Urban made a comment going in to halftime that they were playing too conservative, guess what happened? Double OT after blowing a 17 point lead happened. I have not been impressed by Herman the entire time he has been here, I don't care how many points OSU puts up a game, they are playing scrub teams, they had better put up 50 a game. I was talking to my buddy during the 1st half and he made the comment "I hope Barrett doesn't get hurt running all those qb draws", low and behold he gets injured. At some point the running qb shit has got to stop, there is running backs on the team for a reason. Also I hate the wildcat, it was creative 10 years ago when the Dolphins busted it out or whoever it was. Today it does nothing unless you use the running back/wr to actually throw the ball to surprise the defense. Oh yeah LOL at the polls once again, Ole' Miss loses and drops 4 spots in the AP and 6 in the coaches. MSU thumps Michigan and stays put, Aurburn barely beats a bad SC team and jumps 2 spots in the coaches. Let me check the schedule this week and i'll give you my picks and see if I can go 4/4 on upsets
  7. Incase you missed it haha. OSU is playing a lot like the Va Tech game, thankfully Penn States offense is a lot worse than Va Tech's was. If OSU can get out of there with a win I will be happy
  8. Yeah it isn't the 3rd on the same knee, however it is the 3rd torn ACL this kids body has suffered. At some point you're gonna have to think that maybe football just isn't in the cards for him. Who knows, maybe he comes back from it and is successful at Ohio State. I know the coaches were really high on him.
  9. Looks like Devon Bogard tore his ACL for the 3rd time now. You have to start wondering if maybe his playing days are done at this point. It may be the best for him as far as life after football goes.
  10. I don't think Ball will be the one transferring since he's a hometown guy. I do think Dunn should and will transfer, it's just not working out at Ohio State for him. He did something to get on the bad side of Urban and he's buried on the depth chart because of it.
  11. I will be there on Sunday, hopefully nothing on my car gives me headaches like it has all damn year.
  12. I honestly think that's going to be the situation with Damien Harris as well. I think he is going to head to Kentucky and stay close to home, rather than come here to Ohio State. Granted Kentucky is closer than Kansas, but sometimes it's hard to leave everything you know.
  13. When's the last time OSU had a kid decommit and pick Kansas instead haha Ohio State's busy week on the recruiting front continued Thursday when three-star tight end Josh Moore of Olathe (Kan.) North switched his commitment from OSU to Kansas, as confirmed by Scout.com's Derek Young. The 6-5, 250-pounder becomes the No. 12 commitment in Kansas' class and drops the Buckeyes down to 18. Kinda hard to root against the kid after reading this Josh Moore @JoshMoore_08 · 53m53 minutes ago If my mom needs help I'm there for her. not 10 hours away . Josh Moore @JoshMoore_08 · 55m55 minutes ago The only family I have is left is my mom and I honestly couldn't leave her by herself when I can get a free education 30 minutes away.
  14. Ok, I still think it would make it hard for teams that aren't big money schools to be able to compete if it comes to money. I personally hope it never comes to that, there is the NFL for a reason. I think kids should be able to use their name to make money, but schools shouldn't pay kids to come there. I was thinking about money earlier though, I wonder how much of it is brought in from every Ohio State home game. The cheapest tickets sold are students and they are $36 (at least the ones I just had said that on it). There is 106,xxx people in the stands, plus concession sales. I would be interested in that statistic, if its even possible to find Also, I don't have a problem with a kid taking visits to other schools. College is a pretty big decision, especially for an 18 year old kid. I would however like to see an earlier signing day.
  15. 2 of the top 3 teams in the country right now are "small" schools. If you think Ole Miss and Miss St have the same bankroll to play with that Ohio State and Texas do then you're crazy. The NCAA would have to regulate a cap of some sort to make it a level playing field for everyone.
  16. Oh yeah it's nothing to them, but to smaller schools that's a lot of money.
  17. Give them a year or two under strong and they will be. That state has way too much talent for them to be mediocre for very long. Although, the appeal of playing in the mighty SEC might make A&M a big competitor in terms of recruiting.
  18. So Texas says it will pay athletes 10k per year if it becomes allowable http://www.dallasnews.com/sports/college-sports/headlines/20141021-texas-athletic-director-with-new-rules-longhorns-will-pay-each-player-10000.ece
  19. I figured tonight was as good as any to start tinkering around with this thing again. I got it stripped down completely, so I can start grinding some areas on the frame that I do not like as well as start getting stuff off to the powder coater. Got the motor out and frame stripped naked http://i793.photobucket.com/albums/yy218/guy_from_nerk/Bobber%20Project/10354600_10152824639116907_3024989588531528863_n_zpsbfbefb9f.jpg http://i793.photobucket.com/albums/yy218/guy_from_nerk/Bobber%20Project/10390965_10152824639066907_8901270285254762576_n_zps1c8bb5aa.jpg http://i793.photobucket.com/albums/yy218/guy_from_nerk/Bobber%20Project/1891042_10152824639101907_3598271469195671187_n_zpsabbe1d77.jpg First batch of parts that are going to powder coating tomorrow http://i793.photobucket.com/albums/yy218/guy_from_nerk/Bobber%20Project/10385560_10152824639021907_7834704437354973400_n_zps472d91be.jpg
  20. Wrapped up the Leonardo wagon today!! You can't really tell in these pics, but the font for the stickers are the actual TMNT font. http://i793.photobucket.com/albums/yy218/guy_from_nerk/Wagon%20Builds/10403388_10152824208671907_4788529464357318034_n_zps4adf919f.jpg I also have a teaser pic of the Radio Rancher I am building for my niece http://i793.photobucket.com/albums/yy218/guy_from_nerk/10403388_10152824208671907_4788529464357318034_n_zpsc69b9d12.jpg
  21. Those uniforms look like Cincy/Texas Tech. If they want to do something cool with the uniforms, they can start by bringing back the damn Gray stripes. That'd be stellar!!
  22. That's 19, many say that leaves 5 spots open and about 20 kids still on the radar haha
  23. Haha, just shoot me a pm if you decide you ever want to move forward with that thought. I will pre-warn everyone, they are not cheap to build. The average cost is right around $180, and I don't make jack shit doing them.
  24. Glad to see Baker flip, many felt this was something that would eventually happen. Muschamp being on the hot seat had to of helped out in some capacity.
