Yeah it ran fine, he rode it over to my house to drop it off today. I plan on putting filters back on the carb, mainly because I think it looks terrible without them.

There is a teal color that reminds me of the 50's that I really like. I was thinking about doing that color on the frame and wheels with white walls. The only issue I would have then is finding a color that doesn't clash to do the tank/fender. Idk, I have a little bit of time to figure all that out. Right now the main focus is wiring

I picked this bike up today off a buddy of mine here locally. It runs and drives fine, it was just lacking some cosmetic work...or so I thought haha. Upon looking the bike over I discovered that the wiring was an absolute nightmare and rats nest. There was open ended wires hanging, bare wires and wires connected together unsoldered, untaped, ect. So I started to strip the bike down and eliminate all the wiring that wasn't a necessity. I am going to run all the wiring down through the frame to tuck it away out of sight. This is going to be a learning experience for me as I have never owned a bike and hell I have never really been into bikes of this style. Luckily my brother in law owns a 78' 750 bobber, so he's gonna be giving me a hand. Plans for the bike: Wire tuck Buy a different rear fender and shape it how I want it Powder coat the frame (color undecided) Powder coat the wheels (color undecided) Paint the tank and fender (color undecided) Make sure all routine things are taken care of such as new rear tire, brakes, etc.. Sell it come spring time! Interesting story on 11W about how apparently ESPN is suddenly running pro Ohio State stories. I went over to ESPN and what do I find on the very front of the CFB section? A story about OSU and Michigan St being the 2 best teams in the conference and how a showdown in November could be for a playoff spot haha. OSU will be in the discussion as long as they win out. The money they bring will be too much for the committee to over look in my opinion. The whole CFB system is about $$ and OSU brings plenty of that with their fan base. Now another loss during the season makes all of this null and void haha.

Browns should be 4-0 right now honestly. The best thing I have saw from this years team is they are actually competitive.

Coaches poll out, what a joke haha. OSU at #15 (about where I thought they would be) 5 SEC teams in the top 10 including UGA who lost to a terrible S. Carolina team. Oregon still ahead of an undefeated team in which they just lost to. I said a while ago that I don't think anyone goes undefeated nd the playoffs will be under fire. Someone's gonna be left out and people will be crying worse than when the bcs was here haha. 11 of the top 20 teams lost yesterday, OSU should be #9 if the polls were fair, OSU loses and dropped 18 spots, everyone else loses and they move down just far enough to remain in the top 15. I still say if Osu wins out they will be in, the money they bring will be on their side. Next week's flgames looks to be just as exciting. Yeah they play them, I said a while ago that I expect there to be a whole lot of 1 loss teams fighting over 4 playoff spots. People will be crying about how the BCS was a better system haha. The homer in me is going to show with this next statement but oh well. If there is a bunch of 1 loss teams and OSU is one of them, I really believe they will get in. The amount of money that OSU would bring to the playoffs would make it worth the committees time to choose them. Not to mention if they beat a top 10 team (Michigan St) that will look good on the resume. The old way of thinking was, it's better to lose early than to lose late in the year, right?

Not to toot my own horn but in an earlier post I stated Oregon would pull an Oregon and lose to an unranked team at some point. They do this every year and yet every year the media and fans seem to think this year is the one haha. I honestly feel there will only be 1 undefeated team at the end of the year at best. At some point I even think FSU will slip up and drop a game, they should have lost 2 already this year.

Meyer says Braxton will be the guy next year, I smell a controversy brewing. Barrett has been pretty solid this year and I feel the offense works better with him in there. Miles was in a little segment last year with espn, he said he is too old to move his family and basically start over. Not to mention recruiting at LSU is far easier than it is at Michigan. I don't see either of the Harbaughs leaving the NFL either, lets be honest, Jim had a better gig at Stanford than Michigan would be right now. They will most likely get a guy on no ones radar such as Hoke and continue to suck for a few more years. The Michigan boards are hilarious though, they are imploding!
