  1. Alabama struggled last weekend as well against a far inferior opponent, just in case you missed that.
  2. Key matchups this week #14 USC vs #13 Stanford #7 Michigan State vs #3 Oregon Michigan vs #17 Notre Dame Va Tech at #7 Ohio State I think the OSU score is going to be 38-14
  3. I think before the year is over with Samuel will be the starting running back. He looked the best out of all who were used last week. I think for the first 4 weeks, we'll see a lot of guys back there until someone steps up and takes the role over. To me the 3 most explosive looking players on offense were Wilson, Marshall and Samuel.
  4. Things I saw from this game: -OSU has weapons and lots of them (just gonna take some time to work the kinks out) - Barrett can throw the ball (minus the 1 INT he looked good) - The D-line will destroy most B10 teams - The secondary is vastly improved (ok, so maybe they didn't get tested today haha)
  5. It's finally gameday!!! Right now I am watching Penn St/Central Florida (playing in Ireland), the qb for PSU (Hackenberg) is pretty legit looking. .
  6. Went up there the other night to pick up a couple wheels for a wagon I am building. It's pretty small, but same ol' Harbor Freight stuff, prices are cheap enough that when the tool breaks you're really not that mad.
  7. As I said earlier, the polls mean nothing this year. They are simply there to spike ratings and create conversation such as this. If it was simply Texas A&M vs South Carolina in the headlines, no one would really car. You throw in some numbers such as, #21 A&M vs #9 South Carolina and suddenly that becomes a game that interest most college football fans.
  8. Aren't all qb's a product of their system? I dislike Manziel as much as the next guy, but I don't think it's fair to say hes a product of the system. The biggest reason TAMU's qb looked so badass is because South Carolinas defense got no pressure and the db's got lit up.
  9. Every year S. Carolina is ranked way higher than they should be and then this happens haha
  10. Watching A&M vs S. Carolina right now, feels good to watch football once again. A&M is putting on an offensive clinic against S. Carolina haha. So many "experts" have S. Carolina as their dark horse to win the SEC and I even heard a couple of them predict a NC from them lol
  11. Oklahoma is def on that list, they played in 4 BCS National Championship games, Ohio State only played in 3. They were also in 9 BCS games (4-5). They have also won 8 conference championships lol. Stoops is 160-39 at Oklahoma (started in 2000) and has only lost 4 times at home in 14 years. They are just known for choking in big games (worse than Ohio State) and often over looked when thinking about dominant teams of the 2000's.
  12. Yeah it was a hoax, he admitted to lying. I remember his recruitment, many wanted and felt he was going to come to Ohio State. He ended up at Florida before transferring to USC. Looking back, it may have been a blessing that he ended up outside of Ohio State. Can you imagine what ESPN would have done with this story if he were here? USC, Miami and Texas were all pretty dominant in the early 2000s, then Florida in the mid 2000's, now all 4 are just kinda, bleh! It's funny how football works, Bama wasn't shit in the 90's and early part of the 2000's, now they are loaded every year. I didn't see it posted, my bad haha.
  13. USC falling apart, team captain goes from hero to suspended for season and now running back Anthony Brown quits citing racism from their head coach. Crazy to look at the state of their program from 2004 til now Navy to wear white on Saturday (new unis), they are pretty cool http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/baltimore-sports-blog/bal-navy-football-to-wear-summer-whites-saturday-against-ohio-state-20140828,0,2865996.story "Freshman will have only an anchor on their shoulders, with sophomores earning a diagonal stripe, juniors earning two diagonal stripes, seniors featuring a parallel stripe, and the team’s captains earning three stripes and a star."
  14. UCLA in my opinion has the best shot at coming out of the Pac12 unblemished. They have Oregon, Stanford and USC all at home. The only games they have against a current top 25 team on the road are #19 Arizona State and #25 Washington. Upsets happen and I would not be shocked to see them drop 1-2 games, I just think right now on paper they have the best shot at winning the conference.
  15. Conference champion predictions ACC: FSU SEC: Georgia B10: Ohio State (homer vision), if not OSU then Iowa Pac10: UCLA Big12: Baylor Playoffs: FSU vs Baylor, Georgia vs OSU (probably put the Pac12 champ here in real life) NC: FSU
  16. The polls matter zilch this year, they are just there for tv ratings. With that said, OSU will drop win or loss, unless Auburn loses behind them
  17. There was a game earlier this week, Georgia State vs Abilene Christian. Anyways, tonights game should be a pretty good one between A&M and S. Carolina, I am going to pick A&M. Mark May on ESPN right now, spewing hatred for Ohio State LMAO. Greise made a comment to him about "you're not wasting any time getting the Ohio State fans started". Key games this week (bold are my picks): #21 Texas A&M vs #9 South Carolina #5 Ohio State at Navy West Virginia vs #2 Alabama #16 Clemson vs #12 Georgia #1 Florida State vs Oklahoma State #14 Wisconsin vs #13 LSU Upset pick, Arkansas over #6 Auburn
  18. How long before Brionte Dunn transfers out? He got buried last year, then in the dog house and redshirted. Now he's at least 4th string, being passed up by a true sophmore and true freshman.
  19. Ah that explains it haha. I have been told Marion is basically show up and race at your own risk. Trails is so hit or miss that it pisses me off. Honestly, their tech is the reason I haven't been to the track since April. Every time I go they argue with me about my kill switch, which the boys in the tower say is legal. One night a lady grabbed my harness, walked to the back of my car and told me I couldn't run faster than 11.5 due to no harness, I told her she had just grabbed it, she proceeded to argue with me haha.
  20. I'm just wondering what track you guys are running at with no cage going faster than 11.5 lol. Trails was on my ass back when I was going 11.8@128, really on my ass when I went 11.3@130 (for 5 point harness). Although, a buddy of mine has a turbo TA that has gone 10.0@137 with no cage and hasn't had anything said to him about it. With that said, I have a cage in my car that is street driven a lot and I absolutely hate it. It is honestly the 1 thing about my car I can't stand. I always fear what would happen if my head met the halo without a helmet. There's part of me that wants to cut the damn thing out after this year and just stop drag racing it and or sandbag at the track.
  21. Many have said Guiton will be the one that ends up a qb coach at Ohio State some time in his life. Hell, Urban coined the term Guitonish in honor of him haha.
  22. He will test off the charts, there's no questioning his athletic ability. He would have to light up the throwing portion of the combine though and then deal with the durability questions.
  23. I wondered why Andrews didn't do the first surgery as well after hearing he was doing the second one. It's great to be optimistic about him returning next year, but I just don't see it happening. I think deep down Urban knows he isn't coming back either, thus part of the reason he was named a team captain (him being on the sideline on road games should help JT this year with questions). If he does come back, then well he comes back and the qb battle begins (assuming Barrett does just fine this year)
