  1. Accidents don't just happen. They are caused by the actions or inactions of one or more people.

So pain and suffering, loss time for work is ridiculous? So you get ran over by a drunk driver and have to miss work for 4 month(unpaid), will have back pains for the rest of your life, and as long as your medical bills are taken care of you are okay with that?

I agree, future medical visits, which in turn is taking time off work. this is all things i will need to due.

After some thinking, the medical bill right now has been pretty high and thinking about just getting an attorney to ensure everything gets covered. So if anyone knows of a good motorcycle accident attorney please let me know.

Also any Ducati Dealers you trust that will fix the bike right (if fixable, i need to look at the frame)

  2. Thanks everyone for the well wishes. The pain has definitely kicked in and I'm finding new sore spots by the hour.

I'm definitely not going to be sue happy but will make sure I'm taken care if.

Gear, bike, hospital and the pain that I'm going through.

I'm picking up the bike tomorrow so we shall see what the damage is :(. I feel extremely blessed right now, so I hope this has opened up the eyes of others who choose not to wear gear. I would be in worse shape if I didn't!

GEAR UP before you ROLL OUT!

  3. As some of you may remember i bought Doc's bike from him. It is pretty awesome to ride and could not get enough of it. I ended up going for a ride this afternoon all around columbus. I ended up in Powell when i ran into an issue.

I came to a stop before Grace on 750. I am always pretty cautious at checking behind me to see what is going on. This time i wasnt able to react in time. As i was stopped a car came up behind me and nailed me. I am not sure of their speed but their reaction was none to zero. No screeching just a solid hit.

I flew off the bike and landed possibly on their hood and then onto the ground, i am unsure. I just remember two hits. I ended up with some decent back pain and sat down while some bystanders removed the bike from the ground and assisted me.

Police and EMT were fast on the scene and took me in. I ended up with some bruising, scratches and a very sore back and neck. thankfully i never leave without the proper gear.

My gear definitely saved me, and i am very happy to say it is still in almost new condition (no dents or scratches on the helmet) and padding from the jacket helped absorb the falls.

I am still a little shaken up but ready to get back out there. I havent seen the bike except little bits and pieces here and there. I am picking it up Monday when the lot opens up. I will get some pictures then.

Just remember to watch out for motorcycles and always be prepared for the unexpected.

  4. So I have been looking for a bike for a Long time and never could commit to it. Finally made the plunge and bought a 05 Ducati 999.

The bike is on excellent condition and always been maintained. Price was right and the seller was even better.

Had a good ride home from Delaware as some of you may recognize the bike ;)

  5. Dude do you ever have any one that does work to the house that is done right the first time and not need fixed or they break something lol?

haha, educated homeowner is the worst kind. Sometimes it just takes some common sense for the company doing the work, the devil is in the details. I always let them know my expectations up front.

I would however recommend Konkus Marble and Granite. Very professional, timely and great install of the counter tops thus far
