i rocked the truck while someone shifted it through the gears, finally got it to work. Now i just need to take the oil pump out i just put in, there isnt any oil pressure unless the gas is pushed.

So while being the DIY guy i am,i decided to put in a shift kit in the valve body while i was replacing the filter and fluid. well while removing the valve body the last thing was the shift lever inside the tranny. When making more room to remove the eclip i shifted it out of park and into D i believe. as the truck rolled back a tiny bit and then stopped. When i went to hook the valve body back up the truck doesnt want to shift into anything. I can move it from P to N but not into D. Im guessing i will have to push the truck forward to take some weight off of things to get it to actually shift where it needs to be? The truck is on a sloped driveway,

yeah i dont really want to paint, i thought about powdercoat but that flakes too sometimes, along with any typ of paint. Ill just sand blast it and oil it.

surface rust my friend, just a faint hint. i already sanded and primed it to stop it from building up more.

Not sure what i could use to recoat the inside of my oil pan, it started to rust a little bit from being out and sitting. Would it be better to sand blast it and just oil it up or is there something i can coat the inside with that wont flake off?

well atleast if IPS has it near polaris there wont be kids bringing out guns

172k miles 46re tranny 360 engine I have the oil pan and oil pan off of it right now. Any thing i should do while im in there? Tranny adjust the bands, sure cure shift kit perhaps? is it worth it? Engine Front are rear main seals, oil pump, timing chain, theromstat, water pump? anyone think of anything else? Also ive always used hondabond to seal things back up, with this engine pan being curved the way it is, am i better to just get the gasker? or would the hondabond be fine? Thanks Jake edit, i need to have a drain plug put in the tranny pan. anyone able to do it for me?

actually i am getting around 15-18 mpg on the highway, yeah i was going to pretty much do what was needed to keep it safe, this isnt a DD, just a truck to get things done in and tow the RX7 and other toys with. I might do the lift i might not just depending on what i have invested after the neccessary things. But definitely might pick up the FI hughes intake and do a 3" true dual and possibly headers
