  1. Not yet, Little talk of "The One" The last i heard of the blizzard is we will either get a lot of snow or a lot of rain. Depending on how this low pressure pushes up on the northern states. If it goes too high then we get rain, too low and we get a little bit of snow. So it is hit or miss from what they can tell right now. Other than that, dover is correct for this weekend.
  2. It isnt going to be all that great to have someone plow it now. It is packed down really well, so it makes it harder to plow. Maybe in a few days before this next storm you can have someone come give you quote, whether it be A flat or hourly charge, and depth of snow. Hidden creek landscaping might be able to get you taken care of. They are out of Hilliard. 777 4254 ask for Matt Seiler or Jason Cromley. That is the company i work for.
  3. Sure am. I know sitting in the truck with the heat blasting will put you to sleep sometimes
  4. I agree if you are plowing, then breaks are not really needed except for a quick bite to eat or drink. However when you are actually working outside the truck all day and night a break is needed. Cant wait to buy a plow truck in summer time. i timed it bad this year.
  5. break time!!@!@!!@@! more snow removal in 1.5 hours.... Looks like the storm broke up and will be getting stronger around 5 am and building, just gotta see if it hits us.
  6. We are supposed to get 1-2 storms a week for the next couple of weeks. I heard 6-9 inches today, if we get hit.
  7. uh oh sams post didnt make it to TWO PAGES>>>>>>> the internets have failed
  8. Right here. My job would have been easier with this past storm of over 12'' if our damn snow blower didnt break. FUCK craftsman snowblowers. finally with this one bought 2 new ones and they worked great. plowing = easy. shovel and blower and salting = real men. finally got off work from working tuesday at 2am - wednesay at 230pm. and before that friday at 12pm - sunday at 1200 pm crazy shit. Only 3 hour down time to dry our clothes on this storm and a little more than that on the last one. I just woke up from my 14 hour coma. Time to go do my house now. If anyone needs some help today let me know.
  9. hardest part is probably going to be picking out the tile you want lol. Im redoing the whole house as you know. cabinets are easy you can do that in a few hours. Counter tops i would recommend doing whole pieces instead of tile. heated floor is nice but i would spend that money in the master bedroom rather then the kitchen. If you need help...I might be able to help you do some of the stuff, recently ive been working 30+ hours straight for this snow removal and add on hours for my house.

  12. I thought he just poured concrete?
  13. Ive been looking at getting some cracks fixed in the basement that have been weeping water. There are 3 good sized ones. I had the basement guys come out and give a quote. They told me 2600 for those three. That would include stitches on the cracks all the way down as well. They just came out today and said they had to fill there schedule for next week and would do an extra 25% off. bringing the total down to 2023.00. Anyone know if these guys are any good or have any feedback on pricing?
  14. Alright got all the rooms primed and ready for paint. Patched up all the holes left from the plumbers. They found 12 leaks i nthe house and had to cut into the ceiling and a few walls. Of course some of the holes they cut didnt have a leak behind it. Only problem i have right now is where the french door is going. There is a cold air return in the way. Anyone know a way to move the cold are return somewhere else?
  15. Thanks for all the kind words. Its nice only working a few days a week and still being able to pay the bills. Plus all my time off is going into the house, unfortunately so is my money ha. I patched the holes with drywall the proper way to the studs. I primed the master bedroom and i did the ugly colored rooms. Yet however the primer isnt taking to the semi gloss paint very well. i did two coats and it still bleeds through. Im going to do one more coat and see if it does anything otherwise im going to have to put up a textured wallpaper thing to repaint over. Gas was turned on the other day and found a leak before the meter. Got that fixed and repaired the plumbing, so that gets turned on tomorrow. Its been busy but im making progress.
  16. you dont space it out, it is on continuous drain. Just make sure when putting it in you have some drainage. It all depends on where the water is flooding. You can call my company and talk to them and see if we can come out and do something about it http://www.Hiddencreeklandscaping.com
  17. Ive been looking for one here locally, and only thing i can find is online at sears but not in stores. Any help is appreciated. I need it to do a project and dont want to wait 3 days to do it. Thanks Jake
  18. Your yard should still drain. corrigated piping isnt too hard to put in, just labor intensive if you do not have a machine to dig it out for you. If you can live with it, then whatever, if not and it is leaking into the basement i would do something about it.
  19. I heard if you offer the officer one, he will PITTB,

  21. thanks for the advice. We were looking at maybe adding 9 can lights in the kitchen. There are currently 3 lights in there now. one can be turned into a can light and the other is over where the island would be. I plan to do most of the work myself, it was convincing the girlfriend i have the know how to do it. I never thought about it loosening up the boards next to the one im prying on i will keep that in mind.I planned on putting screws back into the floor to stop it from squeaking. Yet when i pulled the carpet and padding it was hard to tell anything since everything echoed. I will probably just do the majority of them. My only downfall is electricity. I know a little but not a lot.
  22. NJW seems to know what he is doing. He is just out 10 days right now for estimates. Ill prob do a lot of the work myself and have someone do the rest. The real advantage i have is that it is sort of a blank slate. Like for instance the kitchen we are putting in the island and want can light throughout. Well if the house was gutted of carpet and had furniture they would have to cut in to the ceiling and re texture the whole room. We can just go upstairs and pull up the subfloor and save a lot of money. Plus i got some travertine for 5 bucks a square foot. time to do the bathrooms and laundry possibly.
  23. Front and garage doors in and took out the closet drywall. tomorrow the framing and then finishing up the doors http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c168/twistedrx7/0121002047-1.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c168/twistedrx7/0121002048.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c168/twistedrx7/0121002047a.jpg
  24. Put it in N and then switch it back over to 2wd it should work fine.
  25. Yeah is structural support. I already know that. It is holding up the 2nd floor. The beam runs all the way across and the pole drops at the end of the wall upstairs. Im not worried about it. I will just wrap it with a pillar and be done with it.
