This. I don't see how it could possibly flop over-seas where people see cars as more than appliances. But I can see it flopping in the US because this car isn't big, plush, and two FUCKING tons. Let's hope the enthusiast market sees something special in this and keeps it from flopping. I just worry that with two of them in the market, they might sell well, but be considered a flop by the individual companies.
I love this car and would buy one in a heartbeat if FFR wasn't making the 818. But I will say that a BRZ would be a LOT more comfortable than my 818 will be. I've been wanting to get a RWD car to play with, and if I was planning to drive it year round, I'd be in the market for a 2013 BRZ.
