  1. Oh and if I were to have a dream garage, it'd contain: Aston Martin DBS Lamborghini Reventon Ferrari F430 Scuderia Pagani Zonda R And a 1967 Corvette Stingray, with the 427, Dark Green paint with a Tan ragtop and White interior; in memory of my Father.
  2. Interesting selection. I'm pretty sure you had to have owned a F40, F50, and at least two or four other Ferraris before you were invited to lease an Enzo. Yet, there's three Lamborghinis there, and no other Ferraris in sight....

  4. Check out the projector on the ceiling. Wanna bet the inside of the garage door is a screen and the owner watches movies in his cars like a Drive-In?
  5. I love stories with a happy ending.
  6. Front bumper is a rip-off of a Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4. In fact, I thought it was a joke when I first saw it, it's so close. Jeremy Clarkson is going to laugh himself hoarse. I'm so disappointed in GM lately. Today on the radio they were advertising their new SUV (like we need another fucking SUV) that gets an amazing 25mpg! WTF? They're clueless.
  7. Both funny.. and sad..
  8. Don't know about Columbus.. Advance has some LED bulbs. I would recommend SuperBrightLEDS.com
  9. Yeah, but a number of those cars tweaked their chassis to the point where when they came to a rest, one wheel was nearly off the ground.
  10. A lot of cars there need chassis stiffening for the amount of torque they have..
  11. It's tough. There's no quick fix. But part of it is to change your behavior. 1. Think of the things that make you happy. If they're thoughts and feelings (like holding your child in your arms) keep those thoughts fresh in your mind. Make them into a "happy place" you can peek into now and then. Eventually, these thoughts will become like a mantra and help you relax and smile. If it's things you do, find time to do them. If you don't have time, make time. Life is too short to sacrifice the things that make you happy. The things that get in the way are always in the way because they are always there. Which means they can wait for you to get in a short drive, or an hour or two with your favorite hobby. 2. Now that you have your refuge set up, it's time to address your stress. What's upsetting you? Make a list if you like. Now, what can you REALLY effect? War in the middle east? I don't think so. Separate your list into things you can effect, and things that you can't. What's on your 'I can do something about this' list? Take each problem and break it down until you can come up with a plan to fix it. You don't have to fix it immediately. Just get a plan. Even if it's something like "Get a promotion into <this position> at work." Having a plan, whether immediately realistic or not, will make the problem seem less like a mountain and more surmountable. 3. Now for that other list.. The 'I can't do shit about this' list. This is the tough one. Here's where you have to learn to change your behavior. You need to tell yourself that you can't fix it, so you can't worry about it. It'll be tough at first. We are genetically and chemically predisposed to follow old thought/feeling patterns and stay there. We are essentially *ADDICTED* to the ruts we're in. So it take effort to climb out of them. So you have to watch yourself. Whenever you find yourself getting worried about something your can't effect; *stop yourself*, then remind yourself that you can't do anything about it and to let it go. The more you do this, the easier it will get, until you've changed your behavior. 4. But what about the future? The future is coming whether we want it to or not. Remember 2 and 3. The things we can effect we can deal with. The other shit doesn't matter. Worrying about hitting a tree won't make the tree go away. But focusing on the car and what you can do with it might get you past the tree. So to simplify: "Don't worry, be happy!" It's a stupid line from a stupid song. But in essence, it's a little bit of truth. Oh, and I almost forgot: STOP WATCHING THE FUCKING NEWS! Might as well declare the world doomed and suck on a tailpipe if you pay attention to the news companies.
  12. I'm all for giving people a fair chance and living with them in the US. Despite all the BS we like to gripe about, this is still a great country to live in. People who weren't born here should be able to come here and be successful the same as the rest of us. BUT if they don't pay INTO the system, they shouldn't get any benefits FROM the system. To those people, I say "Get the fuck out, freeloaders!"
  13. They're not *great* in the snow, but they don't suck, and they're cheap: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireSearchResults.jsp?search=true&performance=W&width=195/&ratio=75&diameter=14&x=4&y=10
  14. Ok, after some more poking around, a couple corrections. No first gen Firebird. The rest of the f-bodys are all there though. The NASCAR cars are not CoTs. No dedicated drag cars. No Nissan GTR yet. Calendar mode isn't neccesary. You can select races directly (thankfully) I was wrong, it's a Charger Daytona not a Superbird. Paul can play with his neon. Not only can you swap engines like Forza 2, but you can now change drivetrains as well! Game still rocks..
  15. Playing Forza 3 right now. It's great. Interesting things: NASCAR cars are available. One of the Tips mentions a Top Fuel dragster. With Drag racing in the game, there might be one available.. We'll see. 1-4th gen F-Bodys are available for both Camaro and Firebird Mopar guys get a Superbird The game can be as complex or as simple as you want. No Arcade Mode needed. Shifting with the "clutch" lets you pull off some really quick shifts even on the stock transmissions. Those who MUST complete EVERYTHING will be frustrated by the "Calendar" So far I'm having a blast.
  16. Camp out for Best Buy's black Friday sales. It won't be much of a laptop, but it'll be cheap and handle schoolwork/internet just fine I'm sure.
  17. Gotta love the guillotine dash in those.. And Forza 3 WILL have Drag racing. Though I'm not sure if it will be multi-player. But I don't see why not.
  18. It's still been played with. You can even see the video's borders bulge. Still.. Nice tittays.
  19. Lots to read, I skipped around a lot. It's a great article. Makes it really apparent how much the media fucks with a story to get their own spin on it.
  20. If the cars they pick have more substance than flash, I'll be amazed.
  21. Oh, I agree there. My point was that I think there's a hell of a lot more physics going on behind the scenes for Forza than GT. GT does a great job approximating, but Forza just outright calculates. Just watch the tire grip telemetry. It's calculating absolute grip and slip angle for each tire individually. GT just doesn't seem, to me, to be as diligent.
