I had an okay Easter, but I too have been having problems w/ my dad's suburban. It's an 03 w/ the 5.3, flex fuel. A few months back it developed an idle issue while we were in Tennessee, and it died once. Some fuel injector cleaner in the tank seemed to help for a while, but now it seems pretty persistent. No codes or anything, injectors look good. Anyway, over the weekend I changed the fuel filter on it, but it doesn't seem to have helped anything. Maybe I'm dealing w/ a pump on it's way out too....hope not.

I just used the Rug Doctor thing they have a Drug Emporium/CVS. You rent it for a day and return it the next. It has a big long hose that will go anywhere. If you just take out your seats and go nuts on your carpets it makes a HUGE difference. Edit: It's pretty cheap, and you can do your house at the same time

Just dealt w/ this exact issue on my truck. Unfortunately it also knocked out my running lights front and rear. As was said, check fuses, then switches ( especially a dimmer/rheostat ). If none of that works, take a look at a schematic and start disconnecting other things on the circuit to trace the short you're probably dealing with. Good luck, hopefully it's something easy.

I wouldn't do it either. I sometimes wonder if even having a nice car and going to school is a good decision. Although my grades don't really suffer, I never get what I want to done w/ the car, and my breaks always go to working. If I didn't have a chance to get my car for the sweet deal that I did, I would be going the beater only/saving money route for sure.....

Many roads around Hocking hills are awesome, I camp there about every other weekend in the summer, so I know it pretty well. I did have a friend crash his S4 there though, so be careful the first time you try somewhere. Lots of blind turns/hills etc. P.S. - Car and Driver tests here from time to time, and their home office in Michigan. They think it's worth the drive

BUT - the challenger is a porker. If they managed to produce the camaro w/ say 400lbs less weight or so, I could overlook the ugly front-end .

I don't like the front end very much. I prefered the old non-projector look that the concept and transformers movie model featured. Poor choice imho. Looks pretty hot other than that though....

There's a place over by mount carmel east that will let you drop them off, and take them from you, free of charge. I'm pretty sure they just scrap the parts, based on the way they were tossing around all our old stuff, but it's free....
