I'm not stellar at pool, but my parents have a table so I'm decent. Question for you kids that seem to know what you're doing:
Is it common to "call" a table by laying a quarter on it? Some queer at a Pickerington bar was playing on one table, then put a quarter down on the only other table, which 2 guys were playing on. After they were done, I put my money in it, and walked over to him and said "I'm going to play on this table, here's your quarter back". He said,"I put that there so I could play that table next, I guess you're buying so we playing teams or just you and I"? I told him I thought he was already playing a table, to which he replid "I'm playing both tables"....
Needless to say I was pissed and beat the doucher, and my buddies and I kept the table for a few more games. Am I missing some pool etiquette here or was the guy just an assface?
