Stock wheels in chrome would have been my choice. The car belongs to a retired guy that loves chrome.

The dyno graphs are completely stock. The exhaust was added after the baseline runs. The first pull was the highest of the three we did which is why it is the one I posted. Let me know anytime and we can set something up.

One of our clients picked up an 09 Challenger SRT8. I headed to Canton last week to pick it up so we could get started on it. He is after more cosmetic work than performance as he primarily shows his vehicles. He has had this car since December and it has a whopping 13 miles on it. So far his list of mods he wants includes: Wheels Lowering Kit Corsa Exhaust Polished Intake Manifold Chrome accents everywhere underhood electric cutouts Cold air intake Polished Catch Can Hurst Shifter Dyno Tune We got a pretty good jump on things today. We were able to get the exhaust, wheels, lowering kit, and baseline dyno numbers done today. http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/Challenger/Bob/DSC02711.jpghttp://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/Challenger/Bob/DSC02729.jpg http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/Challenger/Bob/DSC02712.jpghttp://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/Challenger/Bob/DSC02736.jpg http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/Challenger/Bob/DSC02723.jpghttp://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/Challenger/Bob/stockdyno.jpghttp://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/Challenger/Bob/stockdynoresults.jpg Next step is to get the intake manifold off and out for polishing and then we will begin underhood!

The intake and exhaust can help a little but most of it is in the calibration. Any intake on an 05+ is going to require a tune as the slot style sensors are really sensitive changes in intake tube design and airflow across the meter.

You can lead a horse to water but........ Personally, I run 93 in every thing I own but all of my stuff tuned for it.

This truck is still perfectly capable of running E85. The new trucks are using factory widebands pre-cat. Commanded fuel is all in lambda. All our data collection from the wideband for tuning is done in lambda at the collector. There are separate tables for both gasoline and e85 and it can correlate based on ethanol percentage. Stock both are set to the same equivalence ratio for wot and have minor differences for cruise. There is also table that modifies spark based on ethanol percentage.

Why thank you sir!! We see those kinds of numbers out of the 05+ 3V's pretty consistently but wasnt sure what to expect with the 09. So much has changed with the 09's that it isnt even funny. I will try to post some pics of the truck up later.

Wanted more power and economy. He also tows with the vehicle and is currently using it as his daily driver.

We had our first 09 F150 hit the rollers today. It was an extended cab 5.4 3V 4x4. Baseline was with a Magnaflow catback. We then added a K&N Cold Air Kit and commenced tuning. All tuning was done on 87 Octane fuel. This truck ran really lean stock and really liked the fuel at wot. We were very pleased with the gains and seeing the smile on the customers face afterwards made it even more fun! http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/F150/09%20F150/DSC02706.jpg http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/F150/09%20F150/DSC02705.jpg http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/F150/09%20F150/09f150.jpg http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/F150/09%20F150/09f150results-1.jpg http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/F150/09%20F150/results1.jpghttp://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/F150/09%20F150/results2.jpg If anyone is wondering about the Chick-fil-a stickers, the guy owns the one on Polaris so go there and eat lots of chicken so he can keep shopping with us!!!!!! LOL!

Had a customer bring us his 09 GT 500 for a cold air intake and tune today. This motor is bone stock with 2000 miles on the clock. The only mods are an Eibach lowering kit, FRPP Short Throw, and 20" AR Shelby Razor Rims. http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/GT500/Rick/DSC02694.jpg http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/GT500/Rick/DSC02696.jpg Base pulls were done with the stock airbox. http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/GT500/Rick/DSC02686.jpg We then swapped out to a JLT Red Carbon Fiber CAI. http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/GT500/Rick/DSC02688.jpg I was hoping for a little better final numbers but the car didnt seem to want to take anymore timing, and I wont push my luck with a customers car. It still picked up great power across the board and feels like a completely different car on the street. http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/GT500/Rick/PPCVSStock.jpg http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/GT500/Rick/ExcelGT500p1.jpg http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/GT500/Rick/ExcelGT500p2.jpg Next in line will be a 2.6 upper, exhaust, and a retune.

I use Greg Trimble over at Trimble Insurance in Deleware. http://trimbleins.com/?dir=5 Best guy I have ever worked with and has saved me a ton of money on my home and my cars while getting me better coverage than I had previously.

Thanks Rob! The truck is still at the shop. He asked us to wire in all of the fog lights that he mounted on the thing as well as handle the dual batteries and add boost and fuel pressure guages. He has driven the truck though and was all smiles. It will only be a matter of time before he wants to up the boost though!!

Here is a customers 08 Hummer H2 we finished up installing a Magnuson TVS supercharger. Previous mods included dynotech longtubes, hybrid Volant/Airaid Cold Air kit (customer installed), Corsa exhaust. http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/hummer/eric/DSC02623.jpg http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/hummer/eric/DSC02624.jpg http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/hummer/eric/DSC02633.jpg http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/hummer/eric/TVS.jpg Here is a before and after graph with a/f. This truck never actually went into power enrichment fueling mode until 5400 rpm on the stock tune which really killed power and explains why hp/tq jump at the end of the stock run. http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/hummer/eric/TVSVSStock.jpg Here is a side by side comparison of the TVS vs Stock http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/hummer/eric/compare.jpg

The Hummer had a very similar boost curve. I think it is just typical of this blower at the lower pulley speeds and as speed increases so does efficiency which is why boost is rising at the top. but what's with the top of the RPMs? We stopped on the stock pulls up top where the vehicle quit making power. With the blower the power shifted upward so we pulled a little higher. There also is no smoothing applied to either of the graphs. We could make them look prettier by smoothing them. It picked up 100hp up top by being pulled higher in the rpm range and 110 lb/ft down low on 6.2 psi of boost peak. I would say that is not too bad for the combo. The big thing is it makes power all across the board which is really what the bigger vehicles need.

We finished up the 2 of 3 of the new Magnuson 1900 TVS blowers we have coming in this month. The first one is on this 07 Escalade. So far I really like the new TVS rotor design from Eaton. They still give you the down low punch that a roots would but dont build the heat like a traditional roots. The Escalade is on 7 lbs and the hottest we were able to get it on the dyno and on the street was 118* in the runner. The Mustang we are running the Roush TVS on at 10 PSI only sees about 126*in the runner and I just finished up a Hummer H2 with the Magnuson this morning that saw a max of 113* in the runner on 5 PSI with a itty bitty heat exchanger. The other nice thing is the TVS blowers still have a bypass for cruising so they dont ding the gas mileage as much as the twin screws. http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/Escalade/DSC02608.jpg http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/Escalade/DSC02609.jpg http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/Escalade/DSC02615.jpg http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/Escalade/TVSStockComparison.jpg http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/Escalade/MagnusonTVSPPCTune.jpg

Yes you can use a stock 05+ meter. If you are looking for one on a budget, I would check the local salvage yards for a totaled truck or car and yank the sensor with about 6"-8" of the harness. The middle 4 wires are for the maf, the outer two are for the intake air sensor which you could incorporate into the maf if you wanted for a cleaner install. HPX is a brand. They make very good sensors and the SCT BA5000 is good as well but I would look for a stock one first if you can find it.

We can do both the Viper and the CTS-V.
-
We sell a decent amount of tires. Ill put Scotty into looking into them for you first thing this morning if you like.

Hate to hear this. Dennis has always been super nice. I hope he makes a quick recovery.

It was nice meeting you Gary. I look forward to hearing from you.
