I think i'm going to this weekend

We most likely are going to put a set in the 68, we've been looking at them a long time now and dad seems to like them.

Alright story time, one of dads co-workers has a 23ft deep-vee, and he normally fills up at BP because it's the closest gas station to his home on the way to the lake. Well occasionally he fills up at the marina or another gas station, well towards the end of the year his boat wasnt running right. So he took it in to have that problem checked out and to get it winterized. He got asked weather he ran BP fuel in it, and admitted he did. Tech could tell he ran BP because the additives in BP reacted badly with the additives from other companies fuels, that it made white floating contaminates in the fuel. In the words of the tech, "if your going to run BP, only run BP... dont mix anything else with it". Sorry for the long story

I try to stick with either Shell or Mobil 93 when it's going in moms car or the 68. My mazda will see anything but BP. BP gas fucks shit up.

It all depends on what it is that you're lowering.

Actually they probably do, if it doesnt pass all the QC checks to be sold retail they may shove it to the rental companies. Same thing happens in the car audio world, at pioneer if a a particular item cant pass 7/10 checks, it gets sent to wally world to be sold there.

wonder why they did that? I was curious as I'm trying to figure how big of alt I can run on the v-belt in my truck.

When I had my rig it was watercooled, overclocked .5ghz on each core ( could have gone 2ghz over on each core but the mobo wasnt manufactured right and overclocked the ram also) and I think it ran 1 degree warmer than stock, so basically 2 degrees over room temperature. Once I'm out of college I'm building another water cooled rig, IMHO its totally worth it.

In 2002 the bravada was based on the TrailBlazer and not the regular blazer. There for it does not have the 4.3 v6 but rather the 4.2 I6.

Lookings to buy a nice set of used or new syclone or typhoon turbo 4.3 manifolds with the crossover pipe(not a big deal). Thanks, Nick.

17 is better than most blazers I see, but it's a blazer you dont buy it for MPG. But I will say this the 4.3 is definitely capable of nice mpg. If I keep my foot out of it and drive like a sane person I can get 22-24mpg. (and thats a tbi 1st gen)
