  1. What he didn't tell you is that all that sound was actually coming from the Aerostar in front of him Is that the same 3.5L in the Altima, Tim? I like the sound.
  2. Aw, yeah... http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n188/bennett9000/Linkable%20BS/gunshow.jpg
  3. I have a TC intercooler I was going to use on my XR, but I'm going with a different setup. Lemme know if you're interested.
  4. Did somebody say Cougar The suspension package is a big part of the Mustang though - that's why the lap times are so much quicker with the Roush, even without a huge horsepower boost.
  5. Gotcha. I didn't think they went to COP in the MPV. I knew the Mazda6 was COP, but the Duratec in much of the rest of the Ford lineup is the ordinary coil pack affair. Good lookin out.
  6. On the Ford Duratec, the fuel pump will make the car spit and buck really bad coming out of a corner - especially if below half a tank. The Duratec is also REALLY picky about spark plug wires, and will start trowing misfires like crazy at the drop of a hat. It happens under load - like you mentioned, going up a hill, and more if you step on the gas a little more. I would strongly suspect spark plugs AND wires are the problem. Replace them all at once - bad plugs will cook a new set of wires, and bad wires will cook a new set of plugs. If you install them all at once, it should be good to go.
  7. That old Porsche was killer; did you get any shots of the interior? There were indeed some decent classics there this year. They had an 87 GNX in pretty much immaculate shape. And a 61 Lincoln Continental with 1,100 original miles. Unbelieveable stuff.
  8. Not yet; it isn't much to see at this point - in pieces around my garage. I shall try to get something presentable together soon. Thanks.
  9. Gotcha. I'm not really a sports guy myself, so yeah - missed it. I have a buddy who is listening to Rome pretty much every time I get in his car, though. So now that you mention it - it isn't TOTALLY lost on me...
  10. They're everywhere What's that? I really have no network for the turbo Ford crowd, outside of turboford.org, so I'm a little out of my element.
  11. Thanks, guys. I like this place; it moves quickly. I'll be around. ...and what do you know - I'm a Riceboy!
  12. Cheers guys; coming over to see the scene. I'm from west Columbus/south Hilliard. I drive a 2000 Cougar V6 daily, and I'm building a project XR4Ti in my spare time. 2.3T and all that. Hope to have it on the road this spring - still holding out for a new T-5 transmission; the 5-speed T-9 in it from before had an... accident. Inside. Just... hi.
  13. I believe the SOHC uses a different transmission than the DOHC. I'm CERTAIN the manual transmission is different between the two, so I would assume the autos are geared differently as well. If you can't find anything, the Columbus Pick n Pull in Groveport has TONS of Saturns on the yard. I bought a manual transaxle for $105 out the door.
