  1. I took photos of the board. You finished third in group 3. Top 3 got a trophy. Solstice GXP was first, and one of the MR2 drivers was second. Cordell would have beaten you if he had stayed out of the cones.
  2. Aaron's a machine. He makes that Golf dance.
  3. Same here; I've been going to those UFO events for about 3 years straight and I've never seen anyone touch the wall. Saw one old Fox Mustang come close, but never any contact throughout dozens of events.
  4. Accord would have been in the group with me and Dorito, with all the roadsters going faster than us.
  5. I actually kind of like that about their events; the classing is always funny. But it keeps me on my toes. A lot of impressive iron out there this weekend, though. Great time.
  6. Found out I need new tires. And why was I classed with all the Miatas?
  7. There was a kid with a bagged, frame-dragging Ranger there last fall. They really don't care.
  8. Apart from the sheet metal, everything in it is GM parts-bin stuff, so don't let "it's a Saturn" stop you. The little plastic cars in the 90's were Saturns. This isn't one of them. There hasn't really been an actual SATURN built since 2002. And I would totally rock a Sky redline.
  9. Planning to do some fence repair around the house that day. If I get rained out, I'll come up!
  10. 3-valve love. Where's the tune from?
  11. I've owned three of them over the past many, many years; a 95, a 99, and an 01. The DOHCs were always oil burners, but the SOHC wasn't. Luck of the draw, I suppose. Maybe the twin-cams are more prone to oil usage because they have another 1000 RPMs of rev range. I took them all to well over 150,000 miles, all still on the original clutch when I sold or traded them in. They are so crazy cheap to own and operate, and so crazy easy to work on. They really are fantastic daily drivers.
  12. The DOHC's burn oil like it's their job. SOHC is better for a daily driver, and bring home way better MPG.
  13. Just checked their site - looks like the dates are all different now, and there are only 4 events...
  14. Death Wobble was the first thing I thought of as well. I have ridden in a truck or two that did that same thing.
  15. This. I've met lots of great pugs; I guess it's all in the training, like any breed. Naw; haven't had cats in a long time. I Have Bull Terriers, which I would not recommend to anyone, ever.
  16. See, when I think about a Shih Tzu or something of the sort, all I can think about is the grooming nightmare they are. If I were going for a smaller dog like that, I'd go with a Pug. Not too high energy, no grooming nightmares.
  17. Truth. Even with just 3.73's the Bullitt is night and day over an equivalent GT.
  18. Love driving my 03 3-door SVT. These things are a hoot.
  19. Easier than most. It's a circle track, with a partially paved infield. Pretty simple layouts. It can be easy to miss a gate from time to time, but pretty much impossible to get " lost".
  20. Super low-key, super fun. And seat time!
  21. I'm gonna try to get the Bullitt out for a baseline, too.
