I am reserves, so i am heading back to my reserve unit in texas, but we are on the list to go to fort knox for a year... i can't wait. good money, and hours long enough i can't spend any of it!!!

I already filed the calim with my insurence, i only carried liability so they won't give me any money, but i am sure they will help me get it with the other company

I will talk to them and see, but I am probably not going to get alot for it. Kind of lame, I am thinking about getting out of the car scene and focusing more on my music and going to school. I am starting drill sergeant school in a week and will not have the time to fuck with the insurence company, buying back car, getting it towed over 300 miles to home or my mom's house. I would like to atleast part it out and make some money, but will probably take the loss, see this as a sign and start spending less on the go fun parts, and more towards my education/music! My mom and stepdad already told me they are sick of hearing about me working on my car's every day to get to school and work, and decided to give me a 2009 honda civic, (long story) but i will now have reliable transportation,a nd that is honestly all i need at this time.

I don't have a reciept for a motor and tranney, I guess I will be looking for a shell in the near future.

So, on my way up to ohio, I was crusing 70 on a interstate and a drunk driver rear ended me (he was doing 100+) While I am alright, my 91 eagle talon is totaled. My question is, I recently put a new engine, new clutch and a tranny in this car. (within 3,000 miles) Am I intitled to get the money back that I put into this car (parts for the engine, machine shop, my labor for installing) Give me an idea, also the accident has happened about 7 hours away from home.

I will be in ohio next week before I go to some military duty. Shops around here do not know dsm's, I would rather take my car to a shop that knows them.

hey, nice to hear from the couple of dsm guy's around here. Hope ya'll are doing good. There is only one other dsm guy around here, I haven't met him yet but he runs low 10's apprently. Alot of people see me in my car and make a bee line, it's sweet.

I am looking for someone who can give me a good tune on my talon with DSM LINK. I am wanting to start cranking up the boost and cannot find a good shop that can do it. Busher and Shep do not do dsm link or tuning.

Ok, so I am going to be in ohio the 28th to the 31's. I would really like to take a the class so I could get my class M lisence while I am up there. Anyone know of any going on or the easiest way to do this? I have never ridden a motorcycle before. Just a few dirt bikes.

Do you have any linkage? I have been looking around all day on the internet and still haven't found any information. Also, what is the total cost for build so far? How many hours are into it? I work at a marina down here in South Texas as a technition and this may be a interesting project.

Also, go to radio shack,,, they have a niftey suction tool for removing the old solder... they also make another type ofabsobiant material to suck up the old solder... looks like a loosely woven thread. I forget what it is called but I will look at my toolbox at work tommorow. and stay way from butain solder irons, they suck, and the exhaust always tends to hit your finger at the wrong time.

It's gravy.... If your afraid to try some capasitor replacments then ur a wimp... find a old clock or something, take parts off of the boards untill it quits working, then put them back on till it works again... then repeat. If you afraid to try a little simple solding, stay away from timing belt changes or anything else a dsm may require. *disclaimer, I'm not shit talking, just motivating you to gain some experience and learn something new.

Ebay, honestly there is alot of stuff on there and selling is pretty easy too.

I was hardcore into rc cars when i was younger, even peiced together a conversion kit for my t maxx to to go from the trx .15 to the 2.5. Then i realized racing my talon cost about the same as my rc car and i went with that.

I started in school band, then got on the drumline, then got my first set. Now, I'm going to college for music... lol speaking of that, i really need to get my kit set up the rest of the way so i can start jaming out!
