Piston to valve clearance. Without the lifters primed and pumped up it would have way more clearance than when running.

Well from a quick search it sounds like most guys running this cam are running shorter pushrods or cut valves. Did you check the clearance while the engine was still in the process of being put together? AJ, correct me if I'm wrong but with the lifters pumped up that would change clearance quite a bit.

Honestly it comes with time. I've dropped from 320 to 250 and while they're almost nothing compared to what they used to be they're still pretty noticable. I do alot of ab work in the gym and it's definitely paid off but like I said it just takes time.

Pretty psyched for weighing and measuring myself tomorrow morning. I've been stuck at 255lbs for over a month now, and I've finally broke under even weighing later in the day where I'm a couple pounds heavier. I had originally set a goal for myself of 230 by September 1st. Doubt I'll see it but I want to be damn close to it so I'm busting ass at the gym and diet to see it.
